65pts so far and up from 5.4k to 3.9k. Very happy with that, and a Kun haul on Monday night would be even better.

GW31 WILDCARD

With Villa, Arse ... and to an extent MC and SHU to consider reducing, wildcard it is.

Currently:

Pope

TAA
Doherty
Egan
Soyuncu

Mane
KdB
Son
Fernandes

Jimenez
Rashford

Ayew 1st sub, Jack Robinson 2nd sub, base players to fill.

I feel it looks pretty good, but lacks Chelsea. Could probably reduce Ayew or Soyuncu by 1m or so and upgrade someone, but thinking the bench needs some flex with likely rotation at some point.

Thoughts welcome!

^ I need that Aguero haul too

my WC team is similar to yours, although I went for 3-4-3:

Patricio (Button)
TAA - Doherty - Lascelles (Aarons, Robinson)
Salah - KdB - Fernandes - Son (Saka)
Abraham - Rashford - Jimenez

Probably a lot will change after the weekend games.

Good team value by the look of it. Better than mine.

Salah v Mane eh?

Salah didn't train yesterday so I might end up with Mane... I hope not though cause I got rid of him on my unlimited transfers before GW30+ and have to pay £12.5 to get him back (bought him ages ago for £11.5...)

I think Salah might be a better pick going forward because of two reasons: 1. he's on penalties, 2. i'm sure he really wants to win the golden boot for the 3rd time in a row

I might try to squeeze in Man Utd defender in there too, hopefully Williams play, he's only £4.2 so easy swap for Aarons or Robinson

Currently on 10 of your 15 (same keeper, TAA / Egan, mid 5 and front 2 - others can vary). Egan may become Robinson if O'Connell out for season to free up funds for Soyuncu to Maguire. Doherty to Saiss / Boly to release funds to upgrade Ayew?

My first ever 100pt week. Unless my MC trio combine for negative scores...

Up to 3.5k, and an Aguero haul tonight would be delightful please!

Thoughts focused on WC31. Thinking of ayew to Vardy. And Taylor to Alonso.

Expensive upgrades. The cost? Mane to Mount.

Pope
TAA, Doherty, Alonso
KdB, Son, Fernandes, Mount
Vardy, Rashford, Jimenez

That's a decent looking XI.

And Soyuncu as 1st sub, or playing of course.

Thoughts people?

Looks good bar Alonso to me. Azpi likely to take the LB spot with Reece James at RB IMO.

I’ve tried a few drafts without Salah/Mané. One or two could reach equivalent scores. You’re a captaincy option down though, and hiding behind the sofa when they do click in to gear

GW30 REVIEW

Finished 23k on the week scoring 124pts and up to 2k overall. Wowzers.

GW31 WC

the tinkering continues.

Is Azpil a safer bet than Alonso?

Is Jesus now a better option than Vardy?

Need a plan.

Will Liverpool now rest people?

But Vardy might be my main priority. Jesus?

I don't see Liverpool resting anybody as there in no more competitions and will want to set the biggest prem league win on record

yep I get that argument, and I suspect a full strength lineup v MC.

But.

Next season is going to start after a relatively short break (presumably) and I just cannot see Salah, TAA, Mane playing every minute.

1267 OR. In fiso minileague the next spot above me is Stem and he is just inside the top 1k.

Will I ever get there?

2FT and need to let this week games happen before committing.

Vardy to Jesus? And roll the other one?

cheers! Have had a few things go my way in the second half of the season, and especially since the restart.

1192 OR now thanks to Pope, and that top 1k is tickling me.

So. Plan needed.

Pope, Martin
TAA, VVD, Doherty, Holgate, J Robinson
KdB, Son, Fernandes, Mount, Saka
Vardy, Rashford, Jimenez

2FT. Still have a FH and TC.

Absolutely staying are in blue.
Absolutely leaving in red.

Remainder, for a few reasons, not sure.

Tempting to lose a Liv defender in order to get Mane or Salah, although VVD will surely play every game and I foresee CS. TAA, not sure if I should trade down. TAA, Mount and Vardy could swap into something nice perhaps?

I have Saka above and say he is fixed as the position seems low priority (Sub 1) - but Foden...

Help?

1371 OR. I have Bruno but still fell overnight.

Tough competition up here.

I'm now thinking Greenwood looks nailed, well mostly nailed, and at that price could be my Vardy replacement.

Might even do:

Vardy to Jesus
Rashford to Greenwood
Mount to Mahrez

But let's see rest of this week first.

With league points not really relevant, I'm assuming Pep wants 16 playing a minimum of 30 to 45 mins each so they are ready for CL and FA Cup. I think those 3 get decent minutes every game.

If they don't, who else will get decent game time and has good points potential when on the field?

Martial instead of Mahrez?

Abraham for Jesus?

Thing is Jesus is due a haul and those fixtures ...

Agree. Everything is tricky. Every decision.
Martial maybe. I had him before the lockdown - while he was not quite Fernandes, he was quite consistent.
I will take Jesus over Abraham anyday, on the other hand. But heck, everything is a half-chance.

And not sure re good decisions. Need to go back through and see what I did and why I did it. Fair amount of good fortune.
