I know it’s cold there and everything, but to do that with a population of 5 million is remarkable.

Good performance from the British team despite some individual disappointments, question is will anything other than skeleton and freestyle ski/snowboard get funding going forwards? The margins are so fine in a lot of sports, from short track to curling, that to effectively decide the sport’s future on medal count seems pretty harsh.

Great by Norway but there must be a hell of a lot more medals these days with all the extra sports and variations. Be even more soon if they cancel out the sexism in events like ski jumping (only 1 women's event. At least 4 for men).

Or have they dropped any???

None of our 5 were in really traditional events although the skeleton has been back a while now and also used to be back in the days of sepia.

I don't think there is any reason why we can't be challenging in the bobsleigh track events, it seems like a sport that would benefit greatly from marginal gains. We may need to look at building our own track, or more likely building a shared facility with an alpine country for use with them.

Curling was a disappointment if we are being honest, but it's a tough sport and it's getting tougher. There is a big opportunity for everyone to make a mark in the X Games disciplines so that is something well worth supporting. We are never going to be good enough at skiing, the competition is extremely high.
