First predictions of the new season are open..looks like they're going to spread the games throughout the weekend rather than have 6 x Saturday 3pm games.

Thanks for the heads up - I best set my league up and join this one. Are they doing the Xtra game this season to?

I wish IKTS was still going - I like a game that has you predict all the Premier League game fixtures.

I take it those who were in this 'FISO Super 6' league last year are auto back in when it was restarted?

I'm not sure it's restarted yet but I did a friend and family one and that added everyone back in automatically.

I noticed last year that a few people were using the Fiso goals tactic of putting 90% of games down as 1-0, the odd 2-0 for a heavy favourite which seems a strange way to play this to me. You'll do well in the standings but to me the point of this is to give yourself the tiny chance of winning a few quid with a one-off high score. What do other people think?

Whats the Fiso way goals tactic, does S6 score you more points for getting goal difference correct?

IKTS used to - but sad truth for me is I've always been shockingly bad at predicting football scores.

I ended the season on 407 points and missed 6 rounds looking at my personal stats - I do wish the gamne was just Saturdays - no midweek rounds could set up a routine then.

I can only dream of getting near the FISO winners score - I am quite simply put just not very good at predicting soccer football scores - just ask my bookies.

I would love to know if I just went 2-1 to the home team every fixture how I would of done for the season relative to my score / the winners score - take my bias out of things?

My stats for the season, also missed 6 rounds.

I think the way to maximise points is to predict every game 1-0 to the favourite. Perhaps the odd 2-0 when it's overwhelming. But it's a very boring way to play this game when surely we all dream of the freak weekend that happens to someone 4 or 5 times a season.

Even assuming 0-1 was final result when away team was favourite, a total of 18% would be right, ie about one in six ties earning five points.
2-1 and 1-2 would provide poorer return.
