As it seems there's only about 50 people playing fiso goals I'm not sure it's worth the effort of the admins (mainly Jester? plus Rob in pre-season set-up) in running this.
Would there be a lot of objections if we called a halt to the game?
I think it is worth running BUT it needs a keen volunteer to be more proactive in the setting up and announcing. A few of us do bits but none of us seem to want to have full responsibility.
It takes very little time to admin once set up (although I've managed to forget to enter scores in both weeks so far...). All the 'work' I suspect is done by Rob.
As it only costs a mug at the end of the season I think it's worth keeping it going. All the leagues are getting fewer entries these days - may as well shut them all down as just this one!

20368 FISOers either predicted a draw, predicted a Brighton win or just didn't enter
I completely forgot about this at the start of the season, and if you miss the first couple of weeks there's little point bothering really as you can't catch up. Tends to get lost amongst other things these days. But if we let things like this lapse then we're losing more and more of "old FISO" to the FPL (puke)/SDT (double puke) juggernaut.
The old "post your scores on the thread" version felt more visible and competitive... still, did we ever get more than 50 entries a week for that? If we did it would have been a lot of work to administer!

Used to get well over 50 for that. It was 70-80 at its peak I think, I'd get over 50 signing up additionally for the cups I think. Luckily I only adminned the thread and cups, thelip was the one more generous with his time doing all the scoring by hand. It may have got more numbers initially when admin stole it away from us but it lost its soul.....
