Some very close matches this week.

Unfortunately Vid losing 39-58 to Rick means he is now mathematically relegated 11pts from safety. I'm sure the other championship managers will join me in wishing him all the best for league one next season.

I thought Sutton was going to beat Llama at one point, but Llama just edged it 55-49. Sutton now has to beat Rick next week to stand a chance of staying in the championship.

Ronny beats Ex-pro 66-60 to maintain his good run of form, but due to my victory over Kongo he still remains 6pts behind me. Ex-pro has sealed promotion due to a far greater goal difference than his nearest rivals.

I just scrape through 60-58 against Kongo. I thought i was going to win comfortably after the weekend's matches, but Sane and Vertonghen getting him much needed pts got him 3pts ahead on wednesday night. Luckily for me Chris Smalling kept a clean sheet and got me the 5pts for victory. I dread to think what would have happened if Kongo had actually made transfers :D

Games to watch out for next week are Ex-pro vs Llama. A win for Ex-pro would give him a huge advantage in sealing top spot. A win for Llama makes for an interesting end to the season, which could involve myself if i manage to win my remaining games.

Sutton vs Rick is another to watch out for. As said above if Sutton loses then it's league one football next season for him.

There is still a slight chance Ronny can catch me in 3rd, but another win would mean almost certain promotion for me.

Remaining transfers have got to played carefully especially as the last 2 gameweeks contain only Chelsea, Man U, and Liverpool players. It will be interesting to see if wins are needed but cannot be acheived without having players from those teams.

Such a poor choice from me to bring in Rashford.

Excellent work again Woody - love reading the weekly updates 👌

Not sure I'm guaranteed top spot with a win against Llama, I could lose the last 2 and Llama could win them 🤔 - that would see him top the table by 3pts ( I think )

Looking ahead Hopefully Mourinho can do me a favour this week as he's hinted at a makeshift back 4 !! 🤷‍♂️ ( Llama puts his head in his hands 👹 )

Good luck lads for the last few games 🤘

I don’t blame ya :D

The only reason there’s not a “p” by your name is only due to goal difference, which would be difficult to make up especially in the final 2 game weeks,

Before i begin, in previous write-ups i have quoted goal difference instead of points difference so to not get confused with actual points scored. Just to clarify that by saying goal difference i am actually referring to the points difference column. :?

The top 3 promoted sides are confirmed. Although, we are yet to find out the actual positions that the top 3 will eventually finish.

I'm sure many were fooled by the change to many of the starting line-ups.

Sutton bags himself a much needed 3pts in his bid to escape the drop. He beats Rick convincingly 41-21. Ideally Sutton needs to win his last 2 matches, and hope Rick loses his last 2. There are a couple more permutations.

Ex-pro finally loses his grip at the summit of the championship. Llama wins 43-29. There could still be many twists and turns, and Llama's 3pts advantage could easily be wiped out if he loses his next match and Ex-pro were to win due to goal difference. There's also a tiny chance that I could finish 2nd, but lets not dwell on that too much.

Unfortunately for Ronny, Kongo wakes up from his bank holiday weekend hangover just in time to make the telling transfers that beat him 47-45. On the other hand I could be doing Kongo a major dis-service, he could be a tactical genius masterminding his safety in the championship with 2 games to spare. For Ronny the championship dream is over for this season, but i wish him all for best for next season and well done on giving me some sleepless nights over the past few weeks.

I beat already relegated Vid, 21-12. This was a topsy turvy match with Vid leading for most the time until Kane's second goal just edged me ahead.

Apart from Kongo vs Vid all the other games have something riding on them. Ronny faces Llama, can Ex-pro do Sutton a favour and beat Rick. I play Sutton, a game in which we both need the pts so it will be interesting to see what happens.

Top work again Woody, I'm glad your going up, I'll look forward to the updates next season...

My lads have took the foot off the gas after securing promotion

I'm gonna predict how the end of season plans out for a bit of fun 🤷‍♂️

Gw 37 -
Ronny beats Llama
Rick beats EPG
Woody beats Sutton
Vid beats Kongo

Gw 38 -
EPG beats Woody
Ronny beats Vid
Llama beats Rick
Kongo beats Sutton

Final table -

P72 Llama
P69 EPG
P69 Woody
63 Ronny
54 Kongo
R48 Rick
R43 Sutton
R37 Vid

Just a bit of fun, obviously I'm not 100% sure on transfers remaining, there's a fair few that could quite easily swing either way 🤔

Thanks EPG. There's quite a few in the prem who like doing updates, but i'll happily share it with them.

Good call on the results. Myself vs Sutton is deffo one that could swing either way. If Liverpool don't take a hammering and don't score I can also see a win for you vs myself in the final fixture.
