Sheffield Utd are in and hopefully Norwich (with financial advice from morganb!) Will check a little later to see the result. High hopes for a Fulham (not triple c's) and also a Sunderland. A few pm's sent this morning suggesting QPR and Birmingham. Fingers crossed for positive outcomes.

Come on then.....much as I may regret getting involved in one of your game suggestions again, I can't see the Blues without an owner!

And as a STH it makes sense as a wonderful relationship!

Chalk me in old chum. What do I need to do?

Do I have to pay the telegraph when I try and join the mini league? I've already spent ten with them buying premier league and championship entries?

Paid and in! Last question. I don't have to use Birmingham players exclusively right? The Derby guy just has Derby players? Much as I love the Blues..........well you know! I pick who I like presumably and the club association is just for novelty value on the league table?

a warm welcome to Sport Billy just before he goes on hols. It is almost certainly a major error to select a whole team from the one you suppport so there could be wholesale changes after the first couple of games and in a league where everyone can be beaten by any of the 23 others.

The scoring will be whatever your Fantasy team scores plus an extra point for every goal they actually score plus their rolling points total.

Theo, you can't make up rules as you go along in a cash league.

I assume, like myself, everybody else joined this league to play by normal TFF rules.

Rules have to be as per the original rules.

This is a cash league and you can't amend them as you go along.

 I'm not sure what to make of that. It would be too hard to administer even if everyone was up for it - tff will calculate the league table by their own rules and they'll pay out to me, I mean whoever is top, of their table at the end. Someone would have to calculate an alternative table and post it up after every game then the 'winner' would have transfer the money to the other 'winner'. Is that really going to happen? :?

Although it theo wants to calculate an additional contest and put up a prize himself I don't see a problem......

thank you Art, your final sentence is exactly correct. I am augmenting the comp with my own money so cannot see where there is a problem. There will be comparative tables on a regular basis to add to the interest.

The problem is clear. Actual goals and points added means nobody would have chosen Burton? Or any other lower half teams? You cannot be so oblivious to that? The TFF competition should remain intact as they control the money now presumably.

RobRoy/Theo whoever you are today, pay attention to what more experienced people are saying. You're clearly well meaning but very naive.

You have to see where you're going wrong surely? The ambiguity of that?

I think this is the key point here.

The comp is as per tff rules as stated, and one reason I decided it was a good idea to use the pay tff option to avoid any issues which could have arisen.

Theo could have explained/written that post better as stated, but that is his posting style we are all used to! we all understand now i think and if he wants to give/sponser his own money as an extra, even if slightly unfair then seems fine by me, if you win a bonus(and your real team does well) if not nothing lost.

if nothing else our readership count has gone through the roof in the past day or two ! Have just picked up the 2200hrs flurry and with just 36hrs remaining there are still several teams without owners. The 63 strong list in the 'other' league has a few candidates while we await positive action from a few pm's sent to tff FISOers who were hardly aware there was a Championship version of the game about to begin.

I will keep an eye on the list throughout Thursday and will give an update at 1800hrs. After that it will be largely up to robot to call the shots. Don't worry all the teams will have a sponsor by the time of the kick-offs at Forest and Sunderland.
