Re: Championship in TFF
I don't think I got any interest in this game at all. Found it tough enough already with the TFF premiership.
I watched a fair bit of championship football this season mainly because the team I support Newcastle was present. With them promoted, I certainly see me watching the championship being greatly reduced. I know a few Derby players (follow them as I was born there) but don't have enough knowledge of the rest of the clubs and their players.
Combined with TTF premiership, it would too much of heavy schedule. Too many decisions to make plus quick turnaround of games plus me playing FPL, TTF and SDT no need to add to my fantasy football workload.

Re: Championship in TFF
Some very big clubs in the Championship and I'd expect a decent amount of entries. It's always nice to pick players from your own team.
Typical that they're launching it next season though when Huddersfield will be in the Premier League.

Re: Championship in TFF
I remember a few years ago they did all 4 divisions and it was free. Didn't last long then so why now?? I was briefly 4th in one with a Shrewsbury block but when that faltered so did my interest.
I'm amazed they think they have enough interest to make it worthwhile to be honest. Time will tell.

Re: Championship in TFF
Most of the Telegraph readers have recently voted to take Britain back to the early seventies so the chance to pick Nottingham Forest, Derby County, Leeds United & Wolves players will be brilliant for them!

Re: Championship in TFF
while we hold our breath to see which team will be departing for greater things, this is good news particularly for those of us who were around in the 70,s ( think Rams and Forest) especially. Are there any Cottage faithful out there ?

Thought you meant TFF were starting a new CL* game as Liverpool were in Europe just like the old days!theo29 wrote:this is good news particularly for those of us who were around in the 70,s

If the there was a decent prize fund it might be interesting.
However, I suspect the prize fund will be £1000 to £2500, which to myself makes the time and effort involved
not worthwhile.

Re: Championship in TFF
can we entice windymiller into the Crumps & Champs League fielding an all Villa line-up but with a differently named club ? He is a brand new FISOer. Still 14 vacancies.

Actually been on fiso for years, but forgot my password and never got a response to reactivate from fiso so had to create a new profile - would love to join the league, but why a different name from Windy Millers FC? theo29, or did you mean different from Aston Villa? ... either way let me know the league details and i'm in

Its just a bit of fun with naming every team after the one you support/follow.windymillers7 wrote:Actually been on fiso for years, but forgot my password and never got a response to reactivate from fiso so had to create a new profile - would love to join the league, but why a different name from Windy Millers FC? theo29, or did you mean different from Aston Villa? ... either way let me know the league details and i'm in
Villa are already taken by spinynorman which maybe what theo meant.
Once the game launches will prob also just put up a straightforward fiso league up for all to enter.

ah, got you. Would still be nice to join. If spinynorman has taken Villa already I could always be Windy Villans

Just put my all Villa team into the championship game. Been a bit out of touch as live in Aus now and have my AFL Dream team duties, but did I see John Terry is now playing for Villa, or was I hallucinating?
