Looks like Selby is on his way.

Dave Gilbert would have given him a much better run for his money but lost against O'brien in the longest frame ever http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/snooker/39581570

I liked the closing credits from BBC2's coverage. Patsy Fagan, a highly talented potter who's career was ruined by a car crash which left him with the "yips". The late Cliff Wilson, who I had the pleasure of playing way back when I was 14. A really lovely guy and full of flair shots. Plus the genial Fred Davis, often overlooked younger brother of Joe and he reminded me of Ted Lowe's best ever comment :-

"Fred Davis, the doyen of snooker, now 67 years of age and too old to get his leg over, prefers to use his left hand"

Class 8-)

PM sent shaggy.

Here's my lot:
1. Wenbo 39
2. Guodong 27
3. Selby 51
4. Hawkins 45
5. Wilson 38

Total exactly 200!!
Be interested to see how many play with the ordering. Iirc the first year Shaggy did the multiplier most people just put them in order of their ranking and there was an advantage for the tamperer. Iirc2, last year people were a bit more canny.

Yes, this is the first year I've given thought to the order.
Will make the difference between similar picks.

I think it's very reasonable of them to finish early tonight. It means I have a slow lead into the next 2 weeks.

Just one change this year. I've included scores from non-completed games. Doen't make any difference in a couple of weeks time, of course, but it will stop the same questions that I get year after year.

Big shout out to Steven Thomas. Losing 2 of your 5 players by 8:30 on Day 1 is some acheivement.

Big shout too to the two on -1170. Respect.

A win would be far from a surprise, as he is VERY good.

He was the cheapie I wanted, and happy that he was so cheap.

Ta. Because I'm saving the league table to my dropbox folder, it means when I print to pdf, the league table is available for everyone to see, since that's where the link is pointing. Now just need to get dropbox installed on my work pc without anyone noticing.

Easy.

Yeah, I'm really hoping he can break through this year. Really exciting to watch and hasn't quite progressed as much when I first saw him play. One of my two "cheapies", Yan not looking so good and I do wonder about Ronnie's mental fragility haven't seen last night's interview :?

Yep to Brecel: he played well earlier in the season when I watched, and was on my Potential List before the Prices came out.

A tad harsh on Yan: from the (admittedly little) I have watched, Murphy has played very well...

Hopefully Ronnie is going for the "world's against me" motivation.

Yan was bloody unlucky against Murphy. From 9-5 down, it could and should have been 9-9 but Murphy fluked a red Thorburn style and cleaned up. I was gutted for the kid (although he looks older than 17).

Brecel is a joy to watch. Absolutely fearless. Not only does he wear Judd's shoes, he plays like him to. Nothing against Fu but I hope Luca gets through.
