The second and final of this season's individual cups is now upon us
To enter - you need to sign up for the Knockout Cup 2015-16 minileague:
You'll need to go to the FISO Goals site section of FISO:
- click the 'fiso Games' logo/link at the top of most pages.
- select FISO Goals
- Click 'My Mini Leagues' on the left of the new page
- enter the following into the 'Join a Mini League' boxes:
League ID = 41
Password = knockedup
- click the box marked 'Join'
GUARANTEED PLACES IN THE LAST 32 ARE LIMITED TO THOSE ENTERING BY SATURDAY 12:45 - so get in fast
3 ways this may play out:
1. If we do get to 32 by the preliminary round kick off (Saturday 27th Feb 12:45) then drawbridge up and that is our 32. Simples.
2. If we don't get to 32 by the preliminary round kick off (Saturday 27th Feb 12:45) then all entrants by that stage will be guaranteed places in the last 32. Later entrants will fight it out over the games on 27-28 Feb & 1/2 March with their scores only counting for games starting after they enter. Say, for example, we get 27 by Saturday 12:45 then late entrants will be playing for the last 5 spaces.
3. If we don't get to 32 by first round kick off (5th March) then there will be byes awarded to early entrants who score highly in the 'preliminary sets' (details later). You'll score points towards your possible bye for all games you predict in the next 2 sets (from this post) AFTER your entry so get in quick.
You won't have to do anything extra to participate in this cup other than enter as explained above and then do your regular 'FISO Goals' Premiership Predictions for the league.
HOW IT WORKS
This and my other cups are effectively informal/unofficial side competitions run by me using scores in the formal/official FISO Goals competition (which has replaced the superior informal/semi-official Premiership Predictions comps run by me and thelip in the olden days).
All ties will be knockout over two legs, home and away. Away goals counts if there is a tie and then usual tie-breakers.

- Other than the byes for the first round, all draws will be totally random using the e-blackbag with Kylie and one other special (but not as special as Kylie) guest doing the draw each week as per previous seasons.SETS/DATES
Sets 26/27 Seedings only preliminary type thingy rounds (27-28 Feb & 1/2 March)
Sets 28/29, Round 1 - Last 32 (5-6 & 12-14 March )
Sets 30/31, Round 2 - Last 16 (9-20 March & c.2 April)
Sets 32/33, QFs (c. 9 & 16 April)
Sets 34/35, SFs (c. 23 & 30 April)
Sets 36/37, Final (c. 7 & 15 May)
Set numbers etc are subject to change but I will try and keep them to the last 12 'proper' sets of matches. Bonus rearranged games etc may or may not count depending on how they fall and fit into the prediction sets.
