the modest prize pot is £50. 1st £20, 2nd 3rd and 4th £10 each. I can afford it because of my reduced booze outlay in the past month and the feeling that we may be seeing the final moments of TFF. The Eddie Elbows thread of 2nd April for TFFers will give us a home base if needed.

it is beginning to look that 12th June will restart the remainder of the season so having paid out the winners of the virtual GN there will be a modest cash reward on offer to the 31 teams in La Dolce Vita. Have not yet decided on what basis so am willing to hear suggestions.
I fear it could well be the Tele swansong for Fantasy Football. What do you think ?

we have a date for the restart to complete the season. A massive 6 week or so TV Special to the beginning of August. happyhoppy is the only one to comment so far. What will TFF have to say about it ?

with 10 days to go to the 'grand re-start' most of the players are getting close to match fitness. They have also been watching all 6 episodes of The Firat Team to remind them what the game is all about. Every team should have a Petey Brooks in the dressing room but would you use a diminishing number of transfers to acquire one for the seasons final fling ?

basic error, the programme is of course The First Team. Anyone watched it ? Hopefully all 31 teams are ready for the restart of the mini season. The cash reward will be £25 to the team with the most points for the whole season and £25 to the winner of the 99 matches about to begin.
I am sending an email to Tele Towers to lobby for some sort of Tff in the new season. The big prizes to my mind are not all important. A platform to operate our own possibly quirky sub plots is. So hopefully we can look forward to Grand National 2021, with or without spectators !

this league has a fair number of FISOers in its ranks and one of them Tonge young pugh nani opened with a 44 point score from the 2 opening games pursued by Stewarts Stalwarts on 42. Can they keep it up through the busy weekend and Monday. At the other end Sons of Pitches, Wat 2 Wolves and thatotherfoot were all scoreless. The overall leader before the March break, Lightfoot Leftfoot had a modest 9 to add to his 1484 and 85 goals.

non FISOer Jasmania (91) took week 1 of the mini season, but after 2 games in week 2 Four Candles (87) well endowed with Foxes and Spurs reduced the gap. Anything can happen tonight !

almost the end of the Summer thrash week 2 and a few of the names who are making a strong showing. Cockerel Army, A step too var, Super Furry Pants, Sons of Pitches. Overall season leader, Lightfoot Left Foot not too far back. Which of these will have half a dozen Palace and Burnley players in action tonight ?

vying for top spot with the Cup semi-s about to be played are Even Stephens, The Reformed Luddite, Forest the Frenchie, 4 Candles, Cockerel Army, Daves Devon Duffersand Early Doors 1.
If you ever check 'Who is online' it is always chock full of FPL punters plus blahblah nearly all the time. TFF very very few !

It is more popular no question but fpl requires weekly management, transfers, who to bench, who to captain whereas in TFF everyone is pretty much out of transfers so nothing really to debate.

as we enter the final week plus CupFinal of the mini season, Cockerel Army 481 leads from Paris Aint German 466 and Super Furry Pants 451. He also leads the overall table 1919 to Lightfoot Leftfoot's 1910 and Happy Eggs 1894.
What of the new season to come ? If it is any sort of guide Tele Towers have a financial game just started with a sponsored prize of £20000. It lasts until early October and has just over £12000 players and is (of course) free to enter. Is anyone involved ?

the final week with just the Cup to be won. Overall Cockerel Army is on 2018. Lightfoot Leftfoot 2006. The 99 game Summer thrash is Cockerel Army 580, Psris Aint German 564 and The Retired Luddite 562. See 15 June post for prize details.

The new season begins on 12 September so recruiting will come round pretty quickly when we know what Tele Towers have in mind. Next year's GN is on 10th April, with or without spectators !

with a score of 37 at the Cup Final, The Retired Luddite is the champion at the 99 game mini season with 599 points. Sons of Pitches got 593. Overall best team for the whole season is The Retired Luddite with 2025 points. Both will be hearing from me shortly.
Still waiting to know what action there will be in Tff next season. If they repeat the free 5 team ration I hope to hear from you. 12th September is not far ahead.

not exactly a stampede but Teletowers have yet to speak. I am minded to be more generous giving out horses this time after correct score backing Lyon to beat City yesterday. It will depend on a reasonable FISO response not obsessed with FPL. Will the race happen (for reaL in 21' ?)

it's nearly here ! Strong expectation that you can have 5 teams for free and spend £50 million just like last season. If you are so minded 2 of these can perform in LDV, private or public, your choice` Just 3 weeks to the start, will Maguire be a risky choice for the early games ?

It is here and essentially there is no big departure from last season. I am already having a problem with registration and it looks like a £20 investment to operate LDV as a private league. Once it is resolved and I have email confirmation you can enter 1 or 2 teams from your precious allocation and hope to stable a horse (or 2) for the GN on 10th April next,COVID permitting.

You don’t need to spend £20 to set up a SL Theo.
