2014 Fantasy World Snooker - Now running

Well chaps of FISO-land, the time has finally arrived. After a re-spotted black on the final frame of the final deciding match, the 32 runners & riders can be confirmed.

Usual snooker rules apply. FISO-er's need to make themselves known to me (either by entering by pm, giving your real name) or giving your FISO name if emailing your entry. If you have other family members that might want a go, then that's fine. The more the merrier.

Entries to be received by 9:00 am Saturday 19th April, and may the best man win.

People like to work to a deadline. What's the odds the turnout is close to or even same as previous years? This way, you look at it, do your research ( ) pick your team and bang it in, job done.

Looking back through the qualifiers, there are a lot of names that I've included in years gone by that haven't made it through. Jimmy 'Whirlwind' White and Steve 'Interesting' Davis probably top the list of players that people have heard of that won't be around this year (and probably never again).

Just been updating my spreadsheet for the 8 qualifiers that made it through today. The final 8 matches take place tomorrow, and then I have judges privilege as to what the scoring will be, along with getting everything set up for 2 days-worth of entrants.

Yes, I'm working on the scoring. I guess that if some-one manages to get all 4 semi-finalists, they'll do well, and another person gets all their players knocked out in round 1 won't do very well.

The path to the final is there, kind of - ie Hearn's site has the 2nd round there in a Winner of Match X vs Winner of Match Y form, but would take a bit of working out, as opposed to a lil picture type of thing.
