Still on 33 sign-ups. Be good to get a few more so qualifying has more edge to it (currently only going to lose 1 player!). If your score is good enough then you can pre-qualify and avoid that risk IF YOU SIGN UP BY SATURDAY LUNCHTIME.

EDIT - and we stay at 37 as the first deadline passes.
Top 20 of those 37 after this weekend will pre-qualify and the first 2 and a half pots for the group stages will be set.
The other 17 and any latecomers will fight it out fro the remaining 12 spots in qualifying over the following 3 weeks.
Latecomers can join up at any time, entry remains open, scoring points from the moment they join - so best to sign up before next weekend.

Tie-Break Rule - if there is a tie for 17th (etc) place then all teams level on this point score will be split based on set 21 scores then set 20 etc until resolved. Those missing out will go into Qualifying.

2 sets to go - don't forget the unconventional midweek set next week. You get about 8 days off after Set 1 then you get 20 games all thick and fast to decide it.

Just one set to go and all to play for, well, for most of you. The top 3 will be feeling quite smug (but really ought to push on and stay Top 4 for Pot C seeding in the draw) whilst those at the bottom really need to start putting some effort in before their chairmen and accountants figure out just what it will cost them not getting into the televised group stages.

10 of the 12 qualifiers are known. Sp4 and reds363 safely in Pot C, 4 battling for final 2 places in that pot and 4 more safely through in Pot 4 (sportsmeister cannot be caught on the tie-break which is final set scores).

Jester needs to win 3-0 tonight against either wizardoffire or eagle224 and hence go through on tie-break.

5 have already bitten the dust....
