Anyone who likes this maiden competition is invited to go to www.dakarfantasygame.blogspot.com and enter a free and amateur fantasy game, but with all the thrill and excitement of the real dakar competition.

Its been cancelled. Really unfortunate. 8 stages were to be held in Muritania (:?:) 4 French tourists were killed there recently, and a travel warning has been issued. I was going to go and watch the Portugal stages tomorrow. Don't even know if they're still doing them :?

I only heard about it tonight....and have been watching Setanta sports news.....Seems that way though. :cry:
