Ha ha, sorry mate. Some problem with my laptop, jumping to other sites, one click copying it in twice. No idea.
It was a bit between Isak and stay with Odegaard or Saka and a 6 mio. Forward. Still not conviced about the cheap forwards, and Ode has been very good for me so far in the first 3 gameweeks. For that price he could be the gem of the season or at least on of the best value players. Whether Isak can also uphold his part of the bargain - not sure at all, but I give it at try.

To address your list:
MDC: week one was the time to play him w Kadioglu injured and it paid off. This is a similar one to my Diego Gomez except for the OOP factor. He WILL lose his place you have to monitor Mitoma and frankly it seems he is only playing there bc of the injuries. So this means their squad is already stretched AND they’re in Europe. For this reason I’m staying away. Gomez is as great a 5.0 player as is in the game right now and is putting up the underlying stats of a top player but of course he is on borrowed time too
Hall - getting too expensive NUFC defence unreliable but on set pieces I guess. Better 5.0 options imo
Szobo - why not go for Isak or Gakpo. Probably will keep points ticking over but a boring template pick
MGW - probably safe gets 180 points consistently but when you can have rogers odegaard maybe less appealing
Barry - like DCL might make sense on paper but ultimately silly. If you have no option ok for a first sub i hope you don’t have to start him
Good points, NBR and I was including them in my layout, thanks for the comprensive feedback.
F3: if not going for Barry / the likes, it is Isak or a dead spot (Walle Egeli). I like both, decided to try it with Isak. If he can go back to his Newcastle levels, that could be an advange of this layout.
Defenders: went with secure players. Muha is not in as I could reach up to Trafford, else I would like him a lot. Van Hecke - not fully convinced, but he is high on the models and let's give him a chance.
MGW: Was looking at his last couple of seasons in FBref and is seems like a strong pattern, that he wakes up in late autumn and starts scoring a lot. That could be a move from Rogers to him at some point
Szobo: I see what you mean and if he remains in this number 8 position, he eventually has to go. For me he is a hedge, on one hand against EO but also for the Isak bet. Should Isak do poorly, not get the mins, Szobo becomes a stronger candidate and stays. If Isak is smashing it, probably even takes some pen share, Szobo can go to a 6.0/6.5 ish mid. I like Dewsbury-Hall a lot, also Tavernier could be an option.

Would have the exact money to go Isak & Slater to MGW & Barry (who could be 8th attacker)

From 4k to 56k - fair to say this WC was quite unsuccessful so far
Should probably listen to the models next time re Gross (and Barry/6 mio for the coming gameweeks) or Brighton assets in general

Gross is ridiculous. I hadn't realized how involved he is in every aspect of Brighton's play until I watched today. Definitely don't watch Brighton games if you don't have him
WC looks pretty good tbf. Isak was disappointing for me on FH as well. He might need to be moved on..

Groß has many routes to points and few competitors for his position. That was behind the point I made about WC3 Groß and WC4 Slater

With the Leeds Lean Shhet also going after 90 mins, that’s a 1400% red arrow. Can’t remember I ever had that before

I would take your nearly 30 points more, even with a rank slide on Monday
On another note - Muharemovic looking really good

MGW going up tonight, then I’m priced out of Isak & Slater to MGW & Barry. If JP was injured, I’d quite possibly makes this move.
Of not, I save and look, how the situation looks after the IB. Also like King for GW6.

Re: Stormrider’s RMT
I could get MGW with Delap instead of Barry. But then the models strongly recommend replacing Ode with Saka, so probably need to keep the power dry and play Egan or Vuskovic if JP is out. Then move away from Isak after the IB
Munoz is great as well. Full backs/ wing backs are back it seems

Re: Stormrider’s RMT
Honestly for some
They never left
I got some nice Munoz returns at the end of last season
I will take consistent offensive contributors w big ceiling over defcon boys every day of the week and twice on Sunday.
I’m sure it’s satisfying to many but plugging a team w defcon guys and watching the points tick over like an odometer sounds really boring to me
I want the highs and the lows that FPL provides and for that you need variance

Groß has to slow down w Europe
Something will slow down and it will start w the minutes getting subbed early as more players return to fitness. Like MDC enjoy it while it lasts. He will still be a fine option but he won’t remain amongst games highest scorers. IMO

Re: Stormrider’s RMT
Just saw the 3pm results and aaarg
What can go wrong currently goes wrong, including Wissa missing a pen.
Not a fan of knee-jerk transfers, but Gross is in, Odegaard is gone.
That will be it for the next 2.5 weeks. Then we look, what to do with the 2 remaining transfers.
Fair to say, the Wildcard was a huge flop - from 4k to currently 190k - with MGW, DCL, Bruno etc to follow. Should probably follow NorthBankRedemption to the beach

Re: Stormrider’s RMT
Funny thing is, I was starting an answer to NBR's comment above earlier in the afternoon, then got distracted and didn't post. Was going to write, that Gross is a fitness monster and will be surely very good again in the congested christmas period. Plus, that we, meaning me, should start to fully realize, how good this Brighton team is under Hürzeler. We would not discuss buying a goal-scoring mid, costing 5.5 mio if it was about Chelsea, Liverpool or Man United. I think, it's not too far away, comparing Brighton in the current form to them.
Had thought yesterday, when we know JP was out, why not to correct the mistake and move to the WC 3 attacker 7 & 8 combo of Gross & Barry. What a change to the situation that had been. Wissa - he really does not get service, it's not only against good teams. More or less the only shot today was the missed pen. Not sure, whether I even keep him for Coventry away (most probably Isak will leave to accomodate JP again, but there could be a world, in which I let go of Wissa instead.

Re: Stormrider’s RMT
Having watched the first half of the Bournemouth vs Liverpool game, I think the sensible thing is to immediately sell both Pool players, even for a hit.
Then, seeing MotD, I fear for Spurs and Van Hecke. At the same time - Hall was everywhere. Was a mistake not going with him. Where is the Wildcard, when you need onw
That are:
strong candidates to leave my team: Szobo, Isak
Will leave at one point: Wissa & Van Hecke (except Spurs find some life)
Candidates to come in: Hall, Joao Pedro (when he's fit again), Saka? (not fully convinced on him)
Here it is a bit more difficult. Gonzalo or King from Fulham for this 3 game run? Jackson looks interesting; a Bournemouth mid for GW9 on? Tarko, Barry remain of interest
Let's see. But could be using both free transfers up to a hit for GW6.

Re: Stormrider’s RMT
One thing of the Wildcard I‘m happy with, is the keeper. Will be interesting, how many points Trafford can get in the next 6 gameweeks with Arsenal, Sunderland, Bournemouth and Chelsea away and Man Utd and Tottenham home.
Can he get 3 points in the away games and 3 and 7 i. the home games? That would be 22 points in a very difficult run, 3.7 per game.

Re: Stormrider’s RMT
The ingredients are there - so far:
A lot of shots conceeded from outside of the box, much less from inside. If he can get a high amount of „easier“ saves, then he should be in a good position bonus-wise, if Leeds manage to keep a CS and the game is not too high-scoring. Let‘s see, whether this theory will materialize for him or whether another keeper will the „the one“ this year. Suzuki could also be a strong contender.

Wanted to keep Isak, if possible. But if he‘s injured, Isak & Szobo to JP and Saka is clear as day. Would leave me with 1.1 itb.
