Even invested the time to work out a few pairs that never play on the same day - so I have tried at least to do this semi properly...

I am interested in how AI works - or doesn't.

I just asked Google AI mode to check any pairs of CL teams who play all of games 1 to 7 on different nights. Google could not do this.

Having already found some pairs, I suggested one (Arsenal and Roma) and Google said no they collided in weeks 5 and 6, then presented a list of game dates for both teams showing they did not collide...

If the AI of a huge monster like Google cannot read its own data (and basic data at that) then why would anyone want to rely on AI for anything?

It's like asking the office junior to do something after they have had an extended pub lunch...

Google even suggests now that I have to go check this myself, but helpfully suggested that I could use GW1 fixtures over 3 nights to rule out many of the possibilities to make my life easier!

Not sure I have the patience to go all the way through the fixtures (or work out a clever way to do this without the hard graft) but so far I note:

- Arsenal do not share any of GW 1-7 with Roma (only team)
- Man City with Atletico Madrid
- Man Utd with Real Madrid, Dortmund, Porto
- Porto with Man Utd, Sporting, Bayern Munich
- Bayern with Dortmund (each might have other pairs)
- Barce with Real Madrid (each might have other pairs)

Neither Liverpool nor PSG pair with anybody.

Yes, particularly if you picked the right PSG players, and didn't spend £10m on one who was benched.

That was one of the team predictions which was correct, but so many wrong predictions. But I feel your pain, I wasn't happy with Fermin Lopez and my Barca Defender both benched. But despite some players missing out still big points being scored. The cheap Sporting Midfielder Zalasar was well talked about before hand, wish I had gone with him 4.5m, sweet, Star man too.

The start this season is playing out very different to last year. Very easy to predict line ups last season but this season these first games are full of rotation.

Kvara.... is the one that's annoyed me. 10m and he didnt play.

I did have Dembele captain but he didnt even get man of the match so i've gone and gambled on Bruno for captain. Tilt mode activated

If i get it right then it's not really through good play as it's a bit of a dumb move especially as there was probably a chance of Bruno rested.

At least i've a chance as he starts. I did read earlier that he was predicted to start in an advanced role.

Lol yep they are bad and i dont reckon they will go the full game without playing it across their box and losing possession and letting one in.

My worry now is i need another 24pts to break even with this move and i know Bruno is usually a 90 min man but i've a feeling he'll come off early.
