GW4 Wildcard

After tying myself in knots trying to add CHE exposure for Hull, and then seeing a few prices were going to move, I got carried away and hit the button

0.0 ITB
Screenshot 2026-09-08 at 08.42.48.png
Reasonings
  • FWDs
  • Haal & Pedro - set & forget
  • Barry seems to be doing ok, and now has no competition, and has IPS, hul in the next 3
    MFs
  • Bruno - set & forget
  • Palmer - Primarily for Hull as (c)
  • Rogers - Primarily for Hull
  • One of the two CHE likely to be downgraded to improve one of these two soon after...
  • Yalcoure & George Hemmings, both £4.5m, both getting good minutes, both decent ICT for their prices
    DEFS
  • Triple ARS defence - set & forget (White may become Timber at some point)
  • De Cuyper, is on form as an OOP winger, was rising last night and has cov next
  • Mendy as due to rise and cheap
    GKs
  • Verbruggen
  • Leno as soon to have ips, HUL, Cov while Brighton have a few harder fixtures

No space for Isak after playing him on your FH last gw? Still a very interesting set-up. Good luck.

I am also on a wc this gw. I opted for Isak with Haaland and Pedro, but no Bruno and instead Ødegaard and Gakpo ( depending on injury news ) in midfield. There are so many good options in midfield.

I had toyed with Isak and Mbeumo instead of Bruno and Barry, but I know I’ll end up regretting it, Bruno scares me when I don’t have him.

I’m still on this set up after a number of other considerations, triple ARS defence and triple Chelsea attack seems a no brainer (even if painful as a Spurs fan ) alongside Haaland and Bruno.

Usually I play with a money spread about 15, but that is never that successful, so im gonna try the all the money on the pitch approach instead.

Gonna be a struggle to use my bench boost for a while tho
