Listening to the Leeds correspondent on PlanetFPL, he is very positive about Justin's minutes. The assumption seems to be that he is the best left-hand CB, they think that Rodon is the one at risk. I'm not sure Gudmundonson will be back that early anyway and with hammy he will be eased back in gradually. I would be confident Justin makes it to overhaul.

Not seeking to change the team at this late stage, and thanks for all the thought and work in producing it. This has helped fast track my education on Cloud FF which as a newbie is very helpful.

Is it really so crucial to have captains for every game day, without fail?

Seems to me that a Chelsea player is being forced on me and I find them all overpriced because their squad is so big I see almost nobody as a guaranteed 5 week starter.

They are getting a lot of Friday games due to their lack of Euro football...

Good question. Personally, I don’t quite make every game, but I get pretty close. It just depends how the fixtures pan out.

If a Hull v Fulham single game day appears, surrounded by crap fixtures for both sides I’d happily skip. If either side had another decent captaincy nearby I’d probably get someone in, or consider a daisy chain move onto someone else after.

The biggest thing with captains is to not miss the big captains, especially the highly owned ones. If they haul a 40-50 pointer and you don’t have them, you’ll plummet miles. Conversely, if you nail a low owned captain you’ll fly!

With 3-4 captains most weekends it’s a huge (and fun) part of the game.

We have 16 in ISO so far, plus code sent to a few others so we’re doing good here too. As ever any newcomers are welcome to join.. just PM me for league code.

Just done a quick audit of the ISO teams, all looking ship-shape except McHamer still needs to update, meanwhile Malrom, Asher’s, Jok57 and Sowenna need to set theirs to public. Besides that we’re all good.

Interesting start with our Gabriel just 22% owned, looks like the herd are on Calafiori.

The swings are enormous in this game, and the hauls are often powered by captains who score heavily on single days that others have skipped (or where they have picked a captain who has a bad day). It pays to save transfers, though, and again the swings can be huge at the end of the season as there is no daily limit on the number you can make.

Gross could easily have hauled, probably should have had a penalty and created a couple of decent chances. It is frustrating though given the score.

I was so tempted to make an Arsenal move or two on Monday, but in the end I couldn’t justify it.

Quite a few of us in the same camp still. I may have a swing closer to overhaul, but this starting line up isn’t giving much reason to. All our captaincies are pretty decent.
