TV on my Computer

Post by pa102aw »

Somebody once put a link on Fiso somewhere to a programme that gave you the choice of around a dozen TV Channels you could view on your computer. They were standard chanells ranging from BBC1 to the Likes of More4.

I had them on my old computer which crashed on me and now I can't remember which Forum I found it on. I have spent ages scouring through Fiso to no avail. Can anyone help ?

...as recommended by download, the world's number one download site apparently...

http://download.cnet.com/Readon-TV-Movi ... 85537.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

though, be warned, there may be "adult" content available on some of the sites. Just so that you can avoid such sites, if you click on to the "genre" list, it will come up with the adult options at the top of the selections, so you know not to go there. Make sure that your firewall and security works, and then double check that firewall and security works. Then, just to be absolutely sure that all security and suchlike works, you might want to check out some of the sites on the "adult" list, if, of course, you wouldn't be offended if such material should get access to your screen, or anyone who might get to see it, allegedly.

I vaguely remember seeing something similar, possibly one of those web-based TV player services that bundled the main UK channels in one place. If you can remember roughly when you used it or whether it was a website or a standalone program, that might help narrow it down.
