Apparently Martinelli isn't a starter, some bid called Hernandez is - according to Vickery.

But he also thinks Carlos needs 3 in midfield, so Pacqetta could be an option over any attacker bar Vinni.

Tim knows his onions on South American football. I’d probably favour his opinion.

His full report, and other SA countries should be easily found.

He has been banging on about Brazil being more 424 than 4231 and 3 mids are needed in the heat - I don't think he's ever used Casemiro island and old together, but hey ho.....

People aren't really considering Embolo are they? He wouldn't even get into my top 10 strikers for this game.

He's currently banned from AmeriKKKa, having been allowed in in 2025.

Yep i read, but the quality of strikers are so good he's surely not even considered if he's starting anyway.

I've ended up having to have Haaland as my 12th man for the first round of games as there's so many good options.

He’s in mine for now pending entry into Amerikkka. Switzerland are a good team and their first two fixtures are very friendly.

I've got a defender instead. I think they are better at defending than attacking.

Is there no app available for this game?

I thought it would be part of the FIFA World Cup app, but I can't find it.

Lockout

FIFA World Cup Fantasy 2026™ will feature a fixed lockout for transfers, along with a rolling lockout system to manage team changes during a live round.

I'd appreciate a translation of this into English. It can't mean that transfers aren't allowed until after a Round has finished because there are overlaps 🤷‍♂️

The 12th Man thing kinda implies that it's someone from outside the squad 🤦🏻‍♂️

You can make transfers only for the next scheduled round. If you make transfers during a live round, they will not affect your current team and will only apply from the next round onward.

Sorted 🤗

I'm in, I don't think I will be about for any of the night games so hopefully captain changes and bench changes will be available soon after games finish.

No idea what the prizes are, or if there even are any

Good luck all

It looks like the changes are available from kick off.

I can't say I'm going to be awake for any silly o'clock moves.

Stupid or genius 🤔🤔🤔

Haaland has the soft Iraq and then Senegal and France: this 12th bod could be an option.

While it zaps him as a Capt; it frees up top cash for a Top (or Top, Top, Top) bod in a soft Group and saves an Xfer.

i'm going with haaland 12th man. as you say the downside is you cant captain him but there's so many one sided matches.

my squad is done but i'm not sure about my olmo pick.
