WOW what a storming finish to the group stage. The BIG showdown in group B between the top 2 went the way of the leader Jester. With 7 straight wins can anyone stop him to cup glory? Well perhaps as the group A leader Zipnolan also stormed to victory in all his games. Confidence must be high in his house right now. A possible collision course awaits those two
Special mentions to Yard of Grass and our current cup holder wiseowl65 who both turned their form around to win 4 and 3 games straight respectfully HOWEVER this means mixed fortunes for both as YOG is through but wiseowl65 is OUT as Heimi Henderson sneaks into the last qualifying place on goal difference of just +9

Scenes in the Quarters as two strong contenders for the cup are ousted in some really close ties, showing just how much it meant to get through to the semis. TFF specialist Heimi Henderson got the better of his opponent by showing his trump card and getting his FPL form back on track just in time. The in-form man of the moment Yard of Grass got the better of cup specialist Spinynorman in both formats by the smallest of margins proving if you research your opponents tactics you can get the better of them. All eyes on YOG going into the semis. Joining them in the last 4 are our two league heavyweight favs who are showing no signs of easing off the gas. A slight wobble for Jester however as The Bear made sure he left his mark on him. Could this derail the gravy train? we will see...

It was a case of close but no cigar for Jester as underdog Heimi Henderson got the better of him at the 11th hour. The key move in this tie being Jesters FPL Triple (C) chip which didnt end with the result which would have sealed the tie in his favour. Giant Killer Yard of Grass made surprisingly light work of his opponent Zipnolan by taking him out in not one but both formats. Can Heimi get the better of YOG in the final. Time will tell...

The mass of team changes made the last game week a bit of a damp squib. Good to know I may have edged it though.

Still nothing and Hayesag has been active (without posting) on several occasions over the last week or two.

Hopefully there’s a legitimate reason there’s been no final update but I’m beginning to have my doubts now.

Just for full transparency here, these are the two PM’s I sent Tony.





Having read the second one back, it does come across a bit arsey in the middle part so I apologise.

What I should have said, is that a short post saying you were busy and would get around to the final update as soon as you had time would have been a better option than just leaving it three weeks.
That said, your response is a tad over the top.
I’ve entered hundreds of leagues/side games over the years and have never had to wait three weeks for a final table to be posted. Perhaps I’ve been very lucky.

As for the prize money, whether I’ve won £30 or £100, you can keep it or preferably donate it to Dogs Trust.

The less said about the head moderator disclosing a report made in confidence about concerns for the integrity of the forum, the better.
