A near template team made itself fairly obvious and because of a couple of transfers (Semenyo in particular) plus the lack of performance from expensive strikers that template became affordable. I don't think that's necessarily going to be repeated, although maybe every striker not called Haaland is going to be a budget option next season.

the difference between TFF and other fantasy formats...they make the rules too simple, and as a result it becomes a race to get the best template team before anyone else. when that is done its effectively game over for another season. the fact that every man and his dog can load up on 10 man city players is frankly ridiculous and VERY BORING. tweak the rules to make it less simple (and introduce a bit of variety) e.g. MAX 3 PLAYERS FROM ANY GIVEN TEAM and we have a comp to get excited about again

Each to their own really. Got to say I very much prefer TFF over FPL with it's moving prices, weekly deadlines and team restrictions. But as I say, each to their own.

I think the Tff game is not as interactive and fun. And although we get to see team sheets not everyone is able to paw through them and sort any subbed players, the other fantasy games are leaving TFF behind with all the bells and whistles being introduced, but if you've been playing it for many seasons I understand the " if it aint broke don't fix it" sentiments.

Playing FISO block I realised that it's advantageous to keep a defence and not play around with it, I do tinker too much and this season was ruined a bit with the Premiums going amiss and plenty of money to spend. I prefer the fantasy football with more expensive player prices so choices have to be made. Yes some Man City players ended up being bargains didnt they
