Even a sub appearance and 1 goal or assist would be OK, don't know why I didn't Vice captain Ekitike!
A few on Goal boost this week also some subbed Haaland out to Bruno etc

Back in the top 100 after a great week, captain's choice next week is pivotal, no stand out choices and most players unlikely to play both games, at least not full games.

I've been looking at Liverpool players as they went strong in the last round of the fa cup. Although maybe the shorter turnaround this time round makes a difference.

Nice of Wirtz to push my captain and proven free kick scorer away late on and shoot it far away enough to intercept an Iranian missile.

75% of top 100 have had their captain play their first game, not too much damage if your captain hasn't played already.

50/50 as to whether Haaland starts v Newcastle today, because of the strength of the opposition, whereas you know Saka will probably be benched for Madueke v Mansfield.

5 players today. None starting. There's always midweek.

This was the first time all season I've finished outside of the top 200 at the end of the game week, thanks to so many people bringing in Fernandes as a one week punt and making him captain. Liverpool should play strongest 11, Arsenal wont but a few will play both games. Didn't bring in Fernandes as I knew he'd be a transfer straight back out, worked against me this week but maybe that may hinder people with only 2 transfers to use next and not being able to take advantage of full team of Arsenal and Liverpool, who have 2 back to back home fixtures the week after as well.

Haaland and Eze out to get the budget for Saka(c) and Saliba. Great. I guess he likes the FA Cup. Targeting double fixtures not so great in recent weeks. Champions League next. Southampton away wasn't the easiest fixture with a potentially incomplete defence.

Just when I added to Arsenal 'invisible' defence to anticipate their fixture 'run' now Gabriel doubt v Sporting.

My team has drifted away, still inside top 1000 but lowest position of the season and no chance now obviously, still have 7 players and captain this week and will try to finish as high as I can. Hope they introduce two sets of chips next season, think it will keep people engaged for longer, most have used them early on. Would also give 10 super subs, 5 not enough imo.
