Just Another FPL Tool

Post by tenkthegreat »

Hi everyone, this is my first thread here on FISO, and I’m excited to share TactiChamp (https://fpl.tactichamp.com), a tool I’ve developed (accidentally) for us FPL managers.

Originally, I built TactiChamp to process EPL historical data as part of my doctoral research (focusing on Model Architecture). Over time, I realized it could be a helpful resource for the FPL community. However, a quick disclaimer: don’t rely on it too much  —it’s just a prediction tool based on historical data, and FPL can be wildly unpredictable!

Before I starts:
No commercial intent here – Admins, I tried to PM but didn’t have access, so please don’t ban me :D
The tool is completely free to use – no login or registration required.
Everything, including the trained AI prediction model, is stored locally in your browser.
I’m not going to explain everything—you can explore it yourself—but I’ll highlight the key details.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Prediction AI

This is the backbone of TactiChamp. You can build, train, and run your own AI models right in your browser using TFJS. No servers, no shady data sharing—everything stays local. Once trained, you can use the model across other tools. Think this like a DIY AI suite where you can create your own prediction AI based on your preferences

Image

You can even test your trained model against historical data—like having a time machine for FPL!

Image

Wildcard

This tool gives you full control over your FPL team. You can play around with budgets, exclude clubs you don’t like, and pick between "Human" mode (my own algorithm) or "AI" mode (using the model you already trained). It finds the best setup based on what you want, making team-building super easy and fun.

Image

Drafter

This is your playground for experimenting. It’s like the Wildcard on steroids—tweak, test, and explore all the strategies you want.

Image

One click, and you get hundreds of team drafts to mess around with.

Image

XI Predictor

It’s basically a spot where you can check out detailed stats for every player, sorted by club and performance.

Image

Transfer Advisor

Think of this as the tool for busy (or lazy) managers. Don’t have time to analyze transfers? Just keep hitting the Discover button until you find a setup you like. Simple as that.

Far too involved for me, I have approved the post as I can't see any issues from the link given.

It's very impressive tenkthegreat 8-) but I have more than enough stuff in my life without delving into history stats.

Out of interest :) what's your own FPL team link? - I'm nosey  and I'd like to see how you're doing
usually, FISO members add their team link to their profile if they are staying around for a while?

Very impressive. I'll try and have a proper look through at some point, as mentioned above, interested to see your rank and if it's had a positive affect on your team.

I stopped managing them since GW12 and i dont think those teams will be qualified for cups, so no worries

I might be a bit late to the party, but thought I’d drop a little “gift” here (i hv been tinkering with something I’m calling the Tacticalculator  )

Basically, it’s a feature I added recently (mainly for fun) that lets us mess around with the predictive side of things in a slightly different way. You can plug in different lineups, switch up tactical approaches, play with coefficients, throw in weather modifiers, and even run a simple sim or two.

It’s not meant to be some crystal ball that nails every result – far from it – but I figured it could give us another angle to look at before locking in transfers each week. Think of it more as an extra layer of insight or just a way to play around with “what if” scenarios without going down too deep a rabbit hole.

Anyway, i will keep tweaking it, but for now feel free to have a play if you’re curious. Who knows, it might even spark some new ideas when you’re stuck on that 50/50 call!

Tenk, is this a paid opportunity? As in, do people have to pay to take part?
Asking as a moderator of the forum. Yes/No answer is fine.
Thanks
