2026 draft picks are a depreciating currency, though, with a seemingly weak class at the premium positions of QB, WR and OT.

Well, no matter whatever about it is good, other than QB, we'll need at least one of them, probably more... and the higher up, the better.

Switched over to the rugby (amazing Argentina comeback v Scotland, with the Carreras brothers hitting the high notes…) but now see it’s heading for overtime in Madrid.

Florio didn’t seem convinced about the interest over there, though the redeveloped Bernabeu was specifically designed to host NFL as per NWHL, so presumably there’ll be more games there regardless.

25% completion rate on first start is at least on a par with HoF QB Terry Bradshaw, but the joint third-lowest since 1970, after Scott Stankavage and Jeff Komlo. Apparently “any list led by those two is a bad one to be on”, though I’ve never heard of either, which perhaps is kinda the point.

I did confidently predict the Shedshow, and he almost gave away a Safety by running into his End Zone.

1 or 2 of his completions looked professional.... But he shits himself under pressure and stepping up into the pocket is an alien concept.

Apparently he’d had no practice reps with the starting offense, which is strange given he’s been QB2 for some weeks and the noodle-armed Gabriel, with a ceiling so low that Kyler Murray could bump his head on it, was obviously on a short leash as starter.

Can Gwen survive this season, even if the QB situation isn’t on him? They’re not the only team with elite-level defence but nothing on the other side to take advantage of it.

I think that they think that Dillon isn't as bad as outsiders think; and I'm not convinced about the no Reos line as we hardly use any WRs anyway, so he could have had loads with them

The thing with Shed, apart from the ridiculous off field shite, is that he can make throws etc but he holds the ball too long, cacks himself at the first sign of pressure and runs when he appears to be unlikely to out run me.

So the "not ready" line does carry some truth if they can stop him seeing ghosts and find some composure and readiness to be hit by big bstrds.
