This week I finally got covid, having managed to avoid it for over 5 years. Seems like it was my son‘s wedding where I picked it up, and thankfully hasn’t affected the happy couple who are now enjoying their honeymoon.

Thankfully my symptoms are nothing more than a bad cold… although coming as it it did while I am still recovering from a (very unexpected) cardiac arrest, it did leave me wondering what else this year has in store for me!
They say these things come in threes. As you are on two, if I were you, I'd try and get a splinter or stub my toe to complete the set.

Whatever you choose, get well soon!

It was very busy and remarkably up beat and good natured. :)
One year on - no Covid Jabs this year unless over 75 or immunocompromised, but me and the other half got flu jabs today. She qualifies on medical grounds (only over 65's qualify by age, but you can qualify for a free jab under certain medical conditions) and the pharmacist just asked me if I wanted one as well, so I did.

No covid this year but flu jabs booked in tomorrow (Mrs m free. Mine, £12 at Morrisons - not risking the Phlu jab at Aldi for £9)

Would have been £18.50 at the pharmacy we went to so £12 isn't bad. Not sure I'd ever have thought of going to a supermarket for a jab - presume they have a pharmacy and they haven't just trained up the fishmonger to do jabs between fillets? :-)

3 choices....
Boots - no supplies
Little chemist - NHS ones only
Morrisons - got a pharmacy so will risk the part time fishmonger

Both of us off for Flu jabs tomorrow. No idea whether Covid will be included but suspect not.

Going through their tills is hair raising enough. I should imagine the jab would come with a run up!

I had both CV19 and Flu jabs a couple of weeks ago - didn't think I'd get the covid one but the pharmacist checked while I was there and lucky me I did....
MrsJ only Flu but CV always gives her gip so she didn't mind so much.
