It is remarkable how many bands/artists and beers you indulge in that I have never heard of. :)

You are so not wrong!

Unc was raving about Caroline P-something at Glastonbury a few years back and I was entranced by WB who performed with Caroline.

Given how so much migrates to the norm nowadays, she's delightful in so many ways or weyes.

Presume you mean Lifeguard, rather than Neutral Milk Hotel (although 'Aeroplane' is criminally underrated IMO). I was in Rough Trade last Friday picking up the new Pulp album and they were playing Lifeguards album in the shop. Sounded really good so bought that as well. Pretty new band and its their first album. I don't think I listen to too much obscure stuff though. Not compared to you anyway :-)

Beers are mainly from two local breweries, Black Iris and Neon Raptor. They do some excellent beer but aren't very well known outside of Nottingham. When I'm in the US I drink beers from another two local breweries around Miramar - Gravity Heights and Ballast Point, neither of which I've seen outside of S California. Either that or other local beers or Sierra Nevada 'little' beers. I'll probably be drinking Ballast Point Sculpin tomorrow evening, listening to the Bob Garcia band in the Joshua Tree Saloon :-)

sort of yes.

Neutral Milk Hotel only had a couple of Albums I think but In The Aeroplane over the Sea is one of the (IMO underrated) 90's classic indie rock / psychedelic albums
