I have played a private version of TTF for a number of years and it’s a great competition.

We are looking to boost numbers and with TTF no longer running, I wondered if you would be interested in joining?

In summary the rules are the same but the bottom 50% at the end of the season pay £100.

The top 50% then play for free with the top six sharing the prize money.

The competition runs twice per year so there is a flat version and then a jump version.

Top scoring 50% of leader board PAY NO STAKE- *Bottom 50% of scorers pay £100 at the end of the competition


-12 horses plus 2 reserves ( reserves only used if ALL entrants have the same horse.

- Competition runs from 2nd May until 18th October inclusive
-£3000 for the winner. Cash prizes down to ??? place ( confirmed when entries are in)

- You can substitute up to 2 of your horses at ANY time of the season .Subs take effect from the MONDAY AFTER they are selected.

- Teams,multiple entries, Partnerships and newcomers welcome

- Weekly update spreadsheet to players only.


NB : Because the racing on Wednesday afternoon at Ascot could be informative the deadline of 12 noon on Wednesday will be strictly enforced in order to be fair ( as always) to ALL players. Apologies in advance if you miss the 12 noon deadline.

New this year : The Commonwealth Cup at Ascot is a bonus race.

SCORING

Selections winning Flat races under the Rules of Racing (excluding NH Flat races and 2 year olds) in Great Britain and Ireland or Group races in France, Germany or Italy during the period of the competition will be awarded points as follows:

25 points Group One race
20 points Group Two race
15 points Group Three race
12 points Listed race
10 points Other race
In the event of a dead-heat, points will be divided by the number of horses dead-heating with fractions rounded down. No points for a walkover. The official result on the day will be used for the calculation of points with any subsequent disqualifications disregarded.


BONUS POINTS
Bonus Points according to the official Tote / Pari-Mutuel win dividend odds including a £1 unit stake, will be awarded to winning selections as follows:

£4 to £7 4 points
Over £7 up to £11 7 points
Over £11 up to £16 11 points
Over £16 up to £22 16 points
Over £22 up to £29 22 points
Over £29 up to £37 29 points
Over £37 37 points
In the event of no Tote win dividend being declared, the Starting Price will determine any bonus points. Should neither a Tote win dividend nor a Starting Price be returned, bonus points will not apply.
Euros and sterling are treated the same for bonus point purposes .
