Fixture news

Post by SamD »

Carabao League Cup round of 16 is set for Tues-Wed 29-30 Oct: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/le ... r=fixtures

If Chelsea were to beat Newcastle at St James' Park, they face a clash with a pre-arranged European club fixture. Their quarter-final cannot be played alongside the other three League Cup ties on Tues-Wed 17-18 Dec as UEFA have scheduled the sixth and final round of the Conference 'group' stage for Thurs 19 Dec. Clubs in the Champions League and Europa League do not play that midweek. The draw for the Conference League knockout round is due on Fri 20 Dec.

For info, Premier League TV changes for December and January are due to be announced by Mon 14 Oct.
