Although if Bowen plays well i might bring him in.
Joao Pedro isn't really worth upgrading at his price as long as the funds are in performing premiums, which I assume they are if you have Arsenal/Liverpool defenders and the template 3 in midfield. Pedro only has to deliver once every few games or so to justify the sub 6m price-tag.

With so few clean sheets this year I don’t think you need to invest more money in defence. Robertson and Romero do that job for you. Romero might not be my #1 choice but he’s got a good game this week.
Vesterman likewise.
The issue is that two reasonable defenders have knocks, meaning that your two Brentford defenders have to play.
I would prioritise transferring out one of those for someone like Colwill but wait for injury updates towards the end of the week. If Romero or Vesterman are out for a while they’re a bigger priority
Do you mean Leicester Vestergaard?
A good defending option! :)

Vestergaard is very much not a good option imo.
I think SP was referring to your Brighton defender Veltman who has a good fixture but could be injured. Keep an eye on the injuries this week, roll a transfer if you can but if Romero or Veltman are out look at targeting you transfer on the non playing one to Chelsea's Levi Colwill,
Good luck anyway.

I think SP was referring to Joënik Vesterman, the b*stard love child of Joël Veltman and Jannik Vestergaard.

I dont have template defs. But i need to have a bit of a think about this week as i need to stop the rot.

Romero might not be my #1 choice but he’s got a good game this week.
Out for 6 weeks according to the injury thread.

Digne >> Burn

Saka/Salah/Palmer - hardest captain choice for years this GW.

Flekken -> Alisson, I think, Liverpool have good fixtures so Ali could be set and forget for a long time

as for captain choice, Brentford are the worst away team in the league with only 1 point and -9 GD in 7 games, so Palmer captain

i'm gonna do it
the big -8

Watkins -> Jackson
Mitoma -> Enzo
Leif Davis -> Gabriel

Signs looking positive for Gabriel who completed full training to regain place vs Everton. Between Arsenal clean sheet odds and corner kick madness, doubling up on Timber and Gabriel seems a sharp but risky move.

Sels - Valderrama
Gvardiol - Gabriel - Timber - Ait Nouri - Faes
Salah - Saka - Palmer - Enzo - Rogers
Isak - N Jackson - Pedro

next steps maybe Ait Nouri or Gvardiol to a Liverpool defender

Not sure Davis to Gabriel is worth a 4pt hit this week: Decent Ipswich fixtures and doubts over Gabriel's fitness?

In which case Mitoma to Enzo also not worth a hit.

Watkins to Jackson looks ok though, Although I'd go Isak instead at this point.

yea so far i've just done watkins to jackson so it's isak-jackson-pedro

mitoma better odds to return than enzo tomorrow though i want to have hand in that chelsea brentford match seems like a goalsfest

gabriel supposedly trained fully and i'm sure arteta would rather use him than kiwior. i think saliba is done scoring for a bit now. already hold timber.

Keane :arrow: Burn

Being left with 10 players last gw, I feel the necessity to improve my bench. I would have preferred to roll, especially because my team needs another wc. :lol:

I brought in Isak then took him out and felt smug after his game out...but now feeling I need him back. I've already done:

Mbeumo >> E Fernandez

Thinking about doing:

Cunha >> Isak
Digne >> TAA

Which will give me a front 3 of Isak, N. Jackson, J. Pedro.

Thoughts?

Cunha to Isak definitely not worth a hit. If no hit it’s still probably not worth a transfer (neither toon nor Leicester especially predictable).

Cheers. I ended up sticking with Cunha though looks like a 4th blank in a row. Things are not looking look for Wolves.

I think we all had to at least give him the Ipswich game but enough is enough at this point.
