If I was to chuck £100 each on 10 Binance coins to set and forget, which would be your picks?

Mind you, I did that a couple of years ago, and they are all down 90%, I’m not a quick learner Image
To be honest in a bull market you can pretty much throw a dart and hit a winner so your guess is probably as good as mine, but seeing as you are asking, here are some of the safer picks. I think a 5X should be possible with any of these below by March next year before the Summer doldrums. If it goes tits up though don't blame me. I am not a financial advisor. DYOR!

DCA bitcoin is the best long term strategy if you just want to set and forget. As for the coins you picked last cycle they will probably rip too.

If you really want to gamble though watch this video and pick some of his meme coins.

SPX6900: Murad listed this “movement coin” as his top pick, with a “clear mission of flipping the stock market.” He initially mentioned it at $10 million and currently trades at $757 million, with a long-term target of $100 billion.
GigaChad (GIGA): This “masculinity coin” is described as “highly spiritually empowering and motivating.” Murad targets a $50 billion valuation for the coin, which he initially mentioned at $15 million.
Mog Coin (MOG): This “culture coin” is part of one of the “top five cults” and is “normie friendly.” Murad calls it a “pre-pump” Shiba Inu (SHIB).
Apu (APU): This “frog meme coin” was mentioned by Murad at $140 million and is now trading at almost double the valuation. He sees it as the most used frog meme on Crypto Twitter.
Popcat (POP CAT): This cat coin is another meme coin listed by Murad, alongside other cat coins.
MINI: Murad’s public wallet reportedly bought significant amounts of MINI tokens just before publicly mentioning them, indicating his confidence in the token’s future.
ERIC: This low-cap token, which Murad has invested in, aligns with his strategy of buying early and benefiting from meme-driven volatility.
ORANGE: Another low-cap token, ORANGE, is also part of Murad’s portfolio, demonstrating his willingness to take calculated risks in the meme coin space.

Just one other thing. If you really wanted to buy Slerf, Bonk, Mew or Cat, which are my favorite meme coins, then I would suggest downloading the Jupiter mobile wallet. Send some Solana to it and you will be up and running.

Good luck! :D

Thanks for this, been a busy week so forgot all about it. Several things I'm not familiar with too, so had to Google DCA, Solana, and Jupiter
Seems the Moonpay/Jupiter combo is blocked in the UK unfortunately, annoying as it looks quite slick :?

My BTC is finally performing well, didn't put masses in, but that £7k is now £24k. Hard to be confident enough to buy more at a level of $100k though...
The rest of my punts (13 coins) cost 3k, and after a couple of years of being generally 90% down, are now worth....£3k

If you had to research DCA and Solana then I would definitely just stick to bitcoin.

If I were you I would look to double the 3k in altcoins, sell them, then use that cash to DCA into bitcoin. That's the safe play.

You are clearly a gambler though so good luck! Just remember, altcoins are like the cherry blossom, they only bloom for a very short period of time.

How have you made 25% when the price hasn’t moved?

Looked about 9 this morning and it was coming up as .039ish to buy.
That was only on kraken rather than direct but would have thought the Kraken buy price would be higher

It’s now .0403 on Kraken.

Why such a big discrepancy and is it the same for every coin?

Ahh. Was looking on my Kraken account not Kraken Pro

I’ve got Kraken set to GBP and Pro set to USD 😀

Was getting concerned that there was something wrong with Kraken 😀

Easy mistake to make.

I actually trade everything from my cold wallet using decentralized exchanges where I can. Jupiter is great if you want anything on Solana. You will need SOL to start and to pay for fees. It's fast and cheap.

If anyone is interested in researching any of the coins I have listed or any others, I recommend Coincodex as a good starting point.

Jeez, its incredibly hard buying coins in the UK...just wasted 30 mins so far and sill nowhere!

Binance - My debit card no longer works to top up, does not say why , but seems like Barclays blocked it. Tried setting up Google pay, redirected me through something for passport and selfie for authentication passed those steps, but in the end that did not work either. Gave up

Coinbase - Debit card also blocked. Quick bank transfer - Denied. Long winded bank transfer - submitted, but 'will have additional checks so may be delayed'

I'm just trying to spend £1000 of my own money but I'm not allowed

I feel your pain! :(

It is all about to change though in the next few years. Trump has vowed to make the US the crypto capital of the world and so far he is fulfilling his promises. Pretty much everyone in all the important finance positions are crypto bro's, he has even created an A.I. & Crypto Czar position in the White House. To America's credit when they decide to adopt something they go all-in. This will basically give the rest of world the greenlight to jump on-board and follow suit, they will need to just to make sure they are not left behind. We are just getting started. :D
