Trip Cap Haaland?

Post by SteveieB123 »

I'm pretty old school, always trip captaining in a double with the exception of last season (Salah 59 minutes, 1pt seeing as you ask!).

Southampton away, likely top goal scorer this (and other) seasons, what's not to love? Ah, premier league form....

So what say you?

Pardon a no longer young man here, but frit? Frightened?

If he'd scored minimum 2 goals in the last 3 I assume that would have an influence the other way?

I saw that also - think it was Sparta Prague so I'll assume a similar level to that of Southampton! Those 2s keep making me doubt the trip though

Voted No
In a single game week without KDB feeding him, there is upside and also downside
In a double game week the ceiling should be as high, the floor higher.

Also no. One midweek performance doesn’t convince me.

Would prefer to keep the option to play in a DGW, and there will also be other SGW opportunities (including Palmer, Salah) later.

I voted no, mainly because he has done me so much harm in the past two game weeks that a third with triple captaincy included might be too much for the old ticker. Having said that maybe the answer should be yes, as I am definitely "considering" it. The people who voted smugly that they've already played it v Ipswich can sod right off.

Seriously, I want to see what this mystery chip is all about (probably a soggy one at the bottom of the bag) before constructing my master plan.

Well, nice poll! Perhaps E.Haaland will overcome those 27 goals and 8 assists from last year.
Who else would you TC? :)
