I haven't been checking others teams, but makes sense, we should have had him from the start.
I blame the idiot who picked the initial team.
And I'm the idiot who decided not to bring him in this week for Emerson - madness!

A few of us have both Emerson and VH in our teams, including me - I am not sure why I did that.

Although I dare say Emersons points to price ratio would probably compare pretty favourably to someone like Isak

Have had to spend a miserable Sunday doing laundry, having sh💩t the bed yesterday by not having Palmer.
Incredible swings really, with so many games on the day.

Ouch. I’m away and missed much of the weekend. This format is great for that, but the Palmer points feels a bit jammy as I wouldn’t have captained him. Not complaining though!

Skittled through the transfers a bit, so on the fence for some of the SGD’s coming up.

Emerson on borrowed time. Should be a plum fixture home to Ipswich on Sat, but West Ham at home 🤮

Doubt anyone would have captained Palmer in Sky, so the beating (possible season ending) for non owners wouldn't have been anywhere near so severe,
It turned into a perfect storm with no one else delivering.
No complaints here though. That's the game, so hearty congratulations to those who had him 👏

Fear Emerson won't even start Vs Ipswich :(
Second half against Brentford where we looked a bit better Mavro was RB and AWB was LB 😬

Van Hecke news is quite annoying, likely out till November. Just as I shipped out Emerson too. Looks like a few of us have him.

Yes I thought it wise to stick to the top 5, to protect the sensibilities of those of us (hopefully) temporarily languishing in the lower reaches

Early days. Happy with my rank considering I sat with Rodri for ages, but taking the Palmer/Saka/Watkins path has come at a cost in transfers. Biddles Salah/Palmer route has proved more fruity so far.

Feel the urge to chill now, but FOMO on the upcoming SGD’s means that probably won’t happen. Never had any joy with Forest players though.

Good to be back.

Thought I’d had a mare yesterday, but 39 points saw a rise. Watkins to the rescue again.

Not a single player in the game made tier 3 passing yesterday, closest was Nathan Collins 72 at Old Trafford. Meanwhile Dunk played 101 mins and knocked it around just 27 times

Apparently I had Watkins too :D which came as a complete surprise to me as I had absolutely no recollection of bringing him in :?

A hell of a pace the overall leaders are setting, I’d got within 20 points of Biddles after Sat, but had a shocker on Sunday as Gvardiol and Salah raced away.

Better last night. Did good with Wood, I may even stick with him. Just hoping my transfer count can stay lower than the number of game weeks, which is proving difficult!

Yes I'm spending transfers hand over fist, trying to stay relevant.
It's not working :(
As you say the leaders are setting a ferocious pace.

Delighted if I’m only 1 over par. I’ll put that down to my horrible Foden fail in GW2, he was in and out same day!

Or to put it iso terms, you've got more transfers than the average adult has teeth.

A proper sh*t sarnie of a weekend. Friday was great and yesterday too, but Saturday dear me.

A frivolous transfer yesterday, I was missing VVD and any Liverpool player in general. I nearly went Konate, but stuck with VVD. Bit jammy he ended up as my captain
