Wow! Late to the party but “Favourite” and “Starburster” are the 2 best songs I’ve heard in the last 20 years! Unbelievable songs. Been on repeat for a week. Literally not played any other song.

Yep, very good band. Romance is one of my albums of the year so far. Skinty Fia is possibly even better although there’s not a lot between those 2 and Dogrel. Dogrels a bit more immediate but Skinty Fia is a masterpiece. A hero’s death is probably the weakest of their 4 albums but still very good.
Best band for a very long time. Off to see them in Wolverhampton in November

I'm going to be BLASTING this into my head for the next two weeks straight. Personally, I like Favourite the most, the melody just keeps playing in my head. Not a bad choice for an energetic start to the week.
Edited: I really hope these two songs are widely popular.

yeah I’m going to pick up their other LP’s after hearing “boys in the better land”, “I love you” etc. I’m finally going to start listening to the rest of the songs on “Romance”. Liking “in the modern world”.

Nice to finally have a new band to discover. The last band that caught my attention was the DMA’s but even they’ve fallen off my radar after their excellent debut LP.

Yep “favourite” really sticks in your head. I’m a sucker for jingly jangly tunes like “Mersey paradise”, “there she goes” etc so “favourite” was an easy love for me. Such a great song!

“Starburster” would be my entrance music if I was a boxer. Phenomenal song!
