If the budget increases occur during lockout each week i am sceptical that risers you want will be 1m in any given week

Those who did Kane Haaland have sacrificed a mil in budget which could be used to strengthen the rest of the team. I assume those who made the change are now committed until the wildcard unless they plan on doing the transfer hokey cokey between Kane and Haaland.

Apart from my Kane to Nunez transfers iv had quite a steady start,got 4 teams in the money(3 inside top 540) in half season game. 761st in £4 season game and 123rd in £42 season game. Captain choice is a tricky one next week, Kane,Son,Salah,Haaland,KDB and Jesus all look decent options.

Nunez too much money to keep on the bench for 3 games, I would just take the L and move him on. I'll be culling all Villa from my teams next week too.

isn't it better to make transfers on Friday after managers' team pressers rather than now, if there's injuries during the week or whatnot you can't reverse transfers.

Nunez may also get an extension on his 3 game ban to 5 or so. He's a gonner.

long way to go yet, the game will be won and lost more on the captains picks than the transfers, will be interesting to see which one of us finishing on top of the other fisoers in the half season game in particular, Ricky is not doing too badly at all, 14 game weeks to go!

Anyway, I just see it as being one nil down, as a Cardiff fan, you get used to it…still we have a little song for those occasions. “One nil down, don’t give a eff ‘cause we’re Cardiff city and we’re going up”.

Im thinking about a few early wild cards myself,if the price increases happen during lockout then are you really going to gain that much budget without being left with a team full of players you dont want. And with only 14 weeks to go I dont see any point going another 3 or 4 weeks with players you dont want,eg Bailey,Matip,Nunez to name a few.

Just read the t&c's again and are price rises not just the same as last season after gameweek 4.

Yes price rises are the same as last season after GW4. I think it is only different after GW3 as they don't want late entrants to have a price boost and hence make within 90 minutes before the start of GW4 when no changes can be done.

If you want to WC early then best to do after GW4 get the price rises and then change to the team you want going forward. You could also get so rises in GW3 by using all your spare transfers on players likely to rise.

I think WC is right in GW1 if your are convinced you made a mistake, then its a bit of bad luck getting a player sent off. Its better than being stubborn with a poor team for a small price rise in the future.

Quiet in here today boys…guessing not such a good game week for most as Jesus didn’t smash it…

Pretty good GW my end but hiding behind the sofa in the monster for the city Newcastle game, personally I see Newcastle frustrating them and a low scoring game, may be one all or one nil or something…also see united putting in a better performance against Liverpool on Monday, again frustrating them with a similar score
Line as above…didn’t think Liverpool looked all that last time out…certainly hope I’m
Right…really do need the big boys like Haaland, debruene and Salah to have below par games, long shot I know but here’s hoping!
