16 Groups of 6 players per group playing H2H against each other home and away ( GW1-10) The top 2 from each group ( 32 players) will go through to the knock out rounds with the final being played in GW15.
Scoring for H2H matches and league ranking will follow the standard FPL rules - for the avoidance of doubt, this means that transfer penalties will be deducted. In the event of a dead heat, overall FPL ranking will be used as a tiebreaker, followed by fewest transfers.

Last seasons cup winner Bølla pinnsvin will be seeded to group 1 and the FISOers with the best FPL scores from last season will be seeded in rank order for the other groups.

There will be many stories on the long road to Wembley stadium so stay tuned for the next exciting instalment

We have 16 groups of 6 teams playing off H2H home and away in GW's 1-10, the top two from each group progress to compete in the knock out round.
Early GW1 points are in ( still awaiting bonus points at the time of writing).
Two chips played this week with Blah deploying the BB against spreadsheet in group L and boise1234 BB v Smokin'RayArnold in Group P

All the groups look tough and 10 GW's is hard to maintain winning form. I have never made it passed the group stage in this competition.

blahblah has the lowest OR at the time of writing, 149 points over the first 2 GW's giving him 22k overall ranking. Also off to a good start for the season is frattonender on 148 points sitting at 26k

Just a quick announcement on Spring League qualifying places which will be available through the FISO Cup this season:

10 places will be filled from this season's FISO Cup competition: The 5 teams with the best records at the end of the qualifiers stage, which haven't already qualified for the Spring League, will all be invited to join the Spring League. The next best 10 teams will play off against another team over GWs 11 and 12 to decide the final 5 places.

The best records in the FISO Cup Qualifying Groups shall be determined as follows:

1. Highest position in Qualifying Group.
2. Points Scored in Qualifying Group.
3. FPL Points up to GW 10
4. FPL Points from 2020/21 and 2021/22 seasons
5. Lowest fpl id for this season
