say that after he scores a gwk1 hat-trick again

agree about diaz 100% he is a decent player but will he convert that into regular solid goals and assist pts? i guess he doesnt need to if trent and robbo keep up their usual wing back antics :)

And VvD😉

Ignoring how I went from 1.5k to 2.4m in record time, I got to 400k without Salah 🤷‍♂️

There's a fine line between 'trap' and just being contrarian.

I get the the reason or the temptation to shun Haaland, but any comparison to Werner/Sancho is weak. They are leagues apart in talent and track record. Haaland's goalscoring record is superior to both Messi and Ronaldo at that age.

If Haaland is going to produce middling points, it's because of rotation and potential injury. Not because of the issues Sancho/Werner et al have struggled with (the latter being he's a terrible finisher).

Salah being a trap is a novel concept. Strikes me as plucking at 'facts' to justify a hunch...

After watching friendlies, any Leeds player will be a trap. I don't think they know what they are doing yet.

They also might have set the trap of moving Dallas back in to defence. Out injured until January but FPL have moved him out of midfield back to defence again.

If Jota isn't fit, then Firmino or even Carvhallo could step up. On the flip side, if the defence is solid then they won't need to score many?

This is probably better in the Lpool thread, but Salah is by no means a must have in FPL, and wasn't last season.
Not sure about that. One of my biggest "disaster weeks" was when I "only" captained Salah, and most triple captained him (I was bench boosting). 29 points lost there alone!

I went deep in the Spring and TRK Cups without him.

Obviously there are GWs where he will go big, but I don't see him getting 5 million worth of points more than Diaz; and that's without the Lpool3 atb, which has been a better option for a few seasons.

And yes, these are the sort of decisions which mean we don't all have the same team 👏👏👏

I'll put it more politely... you've slim and no chance of seeing his team and slim just left town...

Which makes him all the more difficult to replace?

There is a discussion somewhere here that has Sancho as the better option.

- Salah had his 2nd highest scoring season last season
- He scored almost 60p more than the 3rd highest scoring player
- He has been in the dream team 5 seasons in a row

Betting against Salah could work out, but I think you need to be lucky.

Trippier may opt necessarily be a trap, but I think expectations of him are overinflated.

Apparently his attacking returns are from free kick goals and no assists. How many of those could he realistically be expected to get in a season?

Not gonna start with him despite him being in my drafts for a long time.

Tomiyasu - Developing into an even bigger sick note than Tierney. Will spend most of the season on the sidelines with ongoing issues. Millions will get suckered into having him because he's a 4.5 Arsenal defender.
1/1 for traps so far. Never doubt me 8-)

He's had no preseason, so would have been a daft pick.

No-one was trapped by him, which is surely the test.

The trap will probably be set for 10% to take him out this week and he goes and scores 3 against Leicester
