JWP is great season long as a pick and leave.

Martinelli and Grealish (or Rashford)

JWP will be a great season long pick when his fixtures turn.

My thinking is i'd rather having someone playing with bad fixtures than someone with good fixtures who doesnt play. Yep he'd be a pick and leave.

All 3 of those are minute risks aren't they? I'm trying to play it safe with my budget pick.

3 players who are minutes risks, can't add that many risks to my team.

It's about points, not minutes.

But a player can't get any points without minutes. I don't mind 1 or 2 that have a minutes risk but 4 or 5 just won't work for me.

All the players mentioned will get plenty of minutes.

20pts from 3 players will do nicely. Not bothered about the 2pts from Jesus, the ownership was just too high not to start with him.

Going to need a big haul from Kane to avoid my first big mistake.

First mistake going Kane as captain instead of Salah, 2nd mistake is having the preplanned Kane to Haaland transfer. It's great if you've gained points, but no so great when you would probably have been better off starting with Haaland.

As far as other players go, the double Liverpool defence sucked but i mustn't over-react after 1 game. Jesus blanking doesn't really matter, having him was just about being the right side of the ownership. Rodrigo scored which was pleasing but he got subbed early so i'll need to keep an eye on this but Leeds have 4 out of 5 good fixtures and i can always play Andreas as he looked great against Liverpool.

Dwight Mcneil no returns and subbed off early but some good fixtures coming up.

I also moved early but didn't have Kane.

Yep! Indeed. 8-) I just mentioned the same in Mo's thread. I expected it would take a few weeks for them to gel so I hoped I could pick up Haaland cheaper. Turns out the opposite is happening so moved early, especially with Bournemouth at home which was always a risk.

Just the Kane to Haaland transfer for me, been keeping off fpl this week because i dont want to think up an excuse to do more transfers as i actually like my team so maybe i'll be in for a good week this week.

Yes, not logging into FPL is a great way to avoid daft Xfers and hits 👏👏👏👏👏

It's the same as losing weight starting in the supermarket ie don't buy shite so it's not in fridge etc to eat 😎😎😎

I do think Kane to Haaland is a good reactive move, but if planned, then having Kane was a daft one (as it needed Kane to score and Haaland to blank to work..)

I also think that Pep is on a mission to pump everything through him so his and their confidence is good. It will be interesting to see what happens when/if he hasn't scored after 60 mins though.

Lol.

My Kane to Haaland move was planned but I'm not convinced it was a bad move. I know over the season i'll make some bad moves but this just feels like one that didnt work out when on another day when Spurs score 4, Kane could easily have 2 and an assist.
