Not sure why you’d think he’d start tbh. Hasn’t played a minute of pre-season has he?

Re: Perisic del Horno II
I stand corrected but he won't be anywhere near match fit still. Probably on bench for the first 2/3 games and eased in?

Yeah, I think a lot of us have got all excited and jumped the gun on him - and Sess has been getting plenty of minutes...

Re: Perisic del Horno II
30-40 minutes of Perisic vs tired S'ton could be enough. I'm not sure why he played 75 minutes in the last game if he's not ready to play 60 now though?? It doesn't seem logical that he would get 75 minutes then a week later only get 30 minutes, as that's not going to build match fitness. They'll want him closer to tiptop shape for Chelsea.Moon Knight wrote: ↑04 Aug 2022, 13:17 I stand corrected but he won't be anywhere near match fit still. I'm not claiming the idea, as I read it somewhere...Sutter Kane wrote: ↑04 Aug 2022, 15:05I think he's fully aware where he needs to get to, having worked under Conte before. Unless you're talking about Matt D.

Do we think he'll start this GW(3)?

Re: Perisic del Horno II
The account that said he would not start in GW1 has said he predicts him to start in GW3 so, I'm tempted as a Robertson replacement.

SSN have just reported Wolves at Spurs being something of a jinx, which I'll only believe if Perisic starts

Re: Perisic del Horno II
Yeah I saw that - although is that just his prediction this time, rather than him claiming any inside knowlege? (not sure)
If I hadn’t jumped early to avoid being priced out, I’d be sorely tempted by Perisic this morning too. Jumping early meant Perisic was just too risky for me. But it looks now like he will (probably) start and then (probably) play the majority of their tasty next 4 fixtures.
Really close call between Cucurella (who I went for) and Perisic. The safer option Cucurella is 0.4 cheaper, probably gets more minutes (midweek games and rotation start in GW5), but probably has a lower upside/attacking threat/points per 90.
Lots of “probably”s

Re: Perisic del Horno II
Probably calls it a prediction just in case he could get in trouble for leaking team. We'll see. What he also hinted at in that tweet is that Perisic and Sessegnon will rotate - this, coupled with the fact I'd not be confident Perisic even makes it to 60 minutes, would have me worried about spending a transfer on him.Hogmeister wrote: ↑20 Aug 2022, 09:56Yeah I saw that - although is that just his prediction this time, rather than him claiming any inside knowlege? No doubt it won't be 5 or 6 points for him, it'll be 1 or 15, because this is FPL!

Re: Perisic del Horno II
I've had Perisic + Sess since the start of the season. Wanted to try this last season with Chilwell and Alonso but that was more expensive.
So far, there have been returns but also one-pointers. Problem is, I now fret about the 60-min mark instead of the starting line-up..

You have both in your starting XI? InterestingSirMattBugsby wrote: ↑20 Aug 2022, 11:14 I've had Perisic + Sess since the start of the season. Wanted to try this last season with Chilwell and Alonso but that was more expensive.

Question now is will he play against Forest - if he does, with all that space that Neco Williams leaves...

Re: Perisic del Horno II
This is the uncertainty we'll get from him as long as fixtures are congested imo - he's a buy if you can handle feast or famine. I'd probably have him on a WC right now, but I'd still worry about 55 minute substitutions, even more so if he becomes genuine first choice in league and CLeague,
