30-40 minutes of Perisic vs tired S'ton could be enough. I'm not sure why he played 75 minutes in the last game if he's not ready to play 60 now though?? It doesn't seem logical that he would get 75 minutes then a week later only get 30 minutes, as that's not going to build match fitness. They'll want him closer to tiptop shape for Chelsea.

I believe that Conte wanted to show him where he needs to get to. I'm not watching it again to see if he tailed off, but I didn't notice him wheezing etc....

I think he's fully aware where he needs to get to, having worked under Conte before. Unless you're talking about Matt D.
