Best 4.5m MID

Post by cymbalrush84 »

Thread inspires/tealeafed by a similar conversation.

Obviously, everyone is all about Andreas right now, not sure how Jacob Murphy will fit if Al-WyeAye continues the spending spree.

Nobody seems to stand out but I know I’m not alone in thinking Josh Dasilva.

Who are your picks?

The stats are dark and full of errors.

Is this on the basis that he moves on from Villa? Newcastle linked I think.

Yep he's in his last year so i'm assuming he'll get sold. Or maybe they can do a crafy one where they give him a new contract and some playing time with some kind of agreement where they will sell him at the end of this coming season.

I'm thinking Josh DaSilva as well...may well play a more advanced midfield role and when fit is one of their best players. Has been fully involved in pre-season. For the price is a good risk to take IMO.

Boom boom

🤦🤦🤦

Apparently he has refused to sign a new contract and will be Free next summer, so Villa are looking to shift him for £20m.......

Ah, today’s prices for English footballers.

£20m sounds right in this climate, considering we’ve told Everton to do one for MGW at the same price.

Having a medical at Chelsea. Not sure he’ll get much first team action this season tho :(

From what i read Chukwuemeka had a stand off with Villa about signing a new contract because he wanted more gametime, and then he is signing for Chelsea. Something isn't quite right there.

Presuming it’s 3-4-3 they’re playing, that’s obviously two guys in the middle, so he’s in contention with Kante, RBC, Jorginho and Kovacic, with possibly Gallagher, Barkley and Gilmour on the way out (loan or otherwise).

Kid’s a non-starter, he’ll get knocked down but won’t get up again.

No chance of me putting an alcoholic in my squad.

He drinks whiskey, vodka, lager and cider.

Also heard he likes to drop a song or two after. Some that remind him of a good time; some that remind him of a better time.
