That's the first I've heard of a BG DGW, so no idea. But would guess something to do with scheduling of european games subject to how they progress?Stormrider wrote: ↑23 Jul 2022, 13:39 Could get Opsahl next week for Heintz or Diop. And have Oyvann from Tromso but not sure when he will be back to play. but yes, the difference could be there in regards to points.
On Twitter I saw a potential DGW for Bodo/Glimt in GW20 mentioned. Any idea why there should be such a double? Would obviously make using the RU then quite interesting.

Interesting news re the potential Bodo DGW, I have the RU to use but having three Bodo players all ready and cash itb I am not sure what advantage I would get using it. A 2K could be better if anyone has that chip to use.

Re: Eliteserien 2022
Great round for you so far Oxford with 50 points. Hope that continues for you.
Bodo/Glimt play on Sunday, August 21st against HamKam (gw19). The play-off games for the Champions League would be on the 16./17. and 23./24. of August so I could just imagine they would postpone the GW19 game to the midweek after GW20 to give BG some more preparation time? We will see.

Open game Tromso vs Godset put into GW20. Makes using the second WC after the BGW in GW18 very popular I’d think

Re: Eliteserien 2022
Thanks That is a decent DGW20, but more so an interesting BGW in 19. The blank is harder to deal with than the double. BGW18 is OK, BGW19 should be low scoring and not much advantage in RU
Using FT's up to BGW18 and RU19 then WC20 ?

Re: Eliteserien 2022
Yes, that could be a good option. But long way to go. We will see who qualifies for the European play-off round before GW18 - if I counted correctly. Then the teams qualifying can still decide whether to postpone the GW19 game or not.
As you say - use transfers to prepare for BGW18 and then we should know the whole schedule preparing for GW19

Re: Eliteserien 2022
Maybe all of you have noticed, but there were some interesting transfers this week (and last week):
Eriksen is moving from Hamarkameratene to Molde. He could be a bargain if he plays regularly.
Vålerenga has enforced their defence with Stefan Strandberg from Italy. He will certainly be a starter and will improve their defence.
Bodø Glimt has sold Boniface and brought in Salvesen from Strømsgodset.

Re: Eliteserien 2022
My appologies ONZ, I added the wrong name in my earlier post. Not sure were I left my brain at the moment of writing. It's of course Lars Jørgen Salvesen who was bought from Stømsgodset as the new forward. I'll edit my previous post.

Re: Eliteserien 2022
A correction above, important for your team I'm afraid.
I'm not recommending Strandberg though I will look at his price when he is added to the game. He is prone to injuries and has not played a lot as of late. But he will make the other Vålerenga players more attractive, especially their defensive line who has been a no-go-zone this season.

Re: Eliteserien 2022
Salvesen directly in the Glimt starting lineup
At a closer look I had the exact money to go Fofana and Ofkir to Pelle and Salvesen. But will hold still till Sat and by then Pelle‘s price for sure out of reach.

What‘s your expectation for Eriksen in this Molde team Bolla?

What‘s your expectation for Eriksen in this Molde team Bolla?
1) They want more depth in the squad for the rest of the season as they will try to advace in the euro-competition while at the same time trying to secure Eliteserien.
2) They are thinking beyond this season and are looking for someone who can replace Wolf Eikrem.
Norwegian clubs will normally also speculate in potential sales to European clubs with a bigger license to spend. However, Eriksen is not a young player so I doubt that is the motivation. They paid 1.5 million euros which is a lot in Eliteserien.

Re: Eliteserien 2022
B/G won 5-0 and they are almost ready for the next and final qualifier. They'll face Ludogorets or Dinamo Zagreb. Not easy. But they are in any case qualified for euro action this fall and that could impact their schedule and performance in Eliteserien.
I wonder when we get to know the details for BGW19 and DGW20. BGW19 does not bode well for my team.

Re: Eliteserien 2022
According to Norwegian media (who is citing the Sarpsborg and Eurosport webpages) will the Bodø-Glimt matches for GW 18 and GW 19 be moved. But they are only moved one day so they will still be within the orginal GW.
Sarpsborg - B/G 12 August
B/G-Hamarkameratene 20 August
It will help most of us as the latter game will remain within GW 19.
Not confimed.

Re: Eliteserien 2022
Good day everyone and hoping you are ready for GW17 .
I have a question regarding information - do you guys know whether there are predicted lineups available? I remember there was always an article on Eurosport Norge where they mentioned the lineup per game they predicted. Have not seen that any more.
For this round e.g. an interesting info would be whether Badou is expected to play or also who they see starting for Molde (I have Grodem, thinking to sell him).
Good luck all!

Most seasons tend to start off with more info then gradually tails off as season goes on.
The fridiskusjon forum is more or less the only place I can find anything nowadays.

Re: Eliteserien 2022
Intersting to note that the Vålerenga GK, Magnus Smelhus Sjøeng, got another CS. That is 3 out of 6. It's not obvious that Bråtveit will get the spot after all. Vålerenga has really transformed into something "rather good", but still hard to find the obvious picks from them. Sahroui may be the exception.
Yuo may also have noticed that Eriksen got his first goal for Molde. Molde has a BGW 18, but Eriksen looks good after that. I think.

Was quite surprised to dee Smelhus starting yesterday. Has Bratveit not arrived yet? I would take Smelhus in s heartbeat in the soon coming wildcard. After it gets more difficult, especially should someone like Wahlstedt be bought.
Yes, Eriksen looks interesting while I think Grodem‘s time comes to an end soon

How do you guys see the table end of the season? I think the top 3 will qualify for Europe? Wondering whether Lillestrom can fight back, maybe without the additional European games after this week. Glimt look back to their best so could get second, Rodenborg fighting for the bronce medal against Lillestrom?
Relegation, at least the third last place also looks very interesting. Odd, Aalesund or even Sarpsborg? HamKam should be too strong, Tromso finally found their form?

Btw, I see media says that Torgeir Bjørven is on his way back to Eliteserien. Vålerenga. That can be a fairly potent team for the rest of the season if this proves correct. The current coach in Vålerenga was the coach at Odd when Bjørven had his best seasons (playing for Odd at the time).

2 minutes ago just read that as well about Bjorven on Twitter . Was wondering last week why Valerenga has no good striker option. The offensive numbers were good the whole season, recently even very good. But no performing striker. With a Borven of old and the chance creation of the team - fully agree with your view. Maybe I need to keep the WC still s bit longer than GW19 .
