Lucky to get a ticket for Sum 41 playing in a tiny venue in Tufnell Park (Dome) in a couple of weeks.
It sold out shortly after.

Pigs pigs pigs pigs pigs pigs pigs just rescheduled from Feb 2021 to Dec 2021. Hopefully Rock city still going by then but surely that will be safe...

De La Soul was postponed til April 2021 I think, which sounds a bit iffy. Nick Cave postponed to June 2021, which I hope will be OK but you never know..

Well Nick Cave is now cancelled completely but with the promise that ticket holders will get first dibs on tickets for the next tour, whenever that might be, so I get a refund.

Tried to get tickets on their last tour but missed out.

Nice BBC article a couple of days ago on Rock City turning 40. Would have been 1 December I think. Well I suppose it still was, they just couldn’t have the big party!

Should have been the twice postponed De La Soul gig at Rock City a couple of weeks ago.

But... they cancelled due to Covid.

with half an hours notice. Apparently they did the same at Manchester the day before, and they did play Birmingham but only for 8 songs and didn't come back for an encore. sounds like they just cba to be honest.

FM at Islington O2 Academy on Thursday this week (then again in Nottingham at the end of the month). Will be my second gig in over two years having seen Ricky Warwick and the Fighting Hearts in Cambridge two weeks ago - was less than half full, so felt quite safe. Still concerned about the risk of CV19.

Nothing then until the multi-postponed Rammstein in Cardiff at the end of June.
Big gap to Kiefer Sutherland and Placebo - both in November.

Followed by Tears for Fears in Delamere Forest on 21st June. Middle-aged men trying to recapture their youth.....playing to middle aged men trying to recapture their youth. I can't wait.

Ha! yes. Still good though. At the Peter Hook gig a month or so back if you were a middle aged slightly balding bloke on the run from the law all you needed to do to hide was go into Rock City with jeans and a black t shirt on. Would be like trying to find a specific grain of sand on a beach

Back for more of this with Suede on the 9th March. Need to fish out a black t shirt from the summer box.
