Pt2:

Chelsea-
"There is not so much injury news, which might be a good thing," said Tuchel.
"None of the long-term injured players will come back for this game but otherwise we are looking okay at the moment.
"From the game the other night, Cesar Azpilicueta only had a bit of cramp so no injury and he is fine. Kai Havertz's finger is pretty much okay to play football, so our doctors and physios will take care of him.
"Andreas Christensen was in training yesterday and hopefully there will be no reaction to his injury.
"Thiago Silva and N’Golo Kante will miss the game because of Covid. They are okay in terms of symptoms but they are out for the game, of course. They join Ben Chilwell and Reece James who are both out as well."

Spurs- "I think that Harry [Kane] has played six games in 17 days and I think that it’s right to give him a bit of rest. Dele [Alli] is one of the players that plays on Sunday. (See post above re Son)

WHam - "there's one or two Covid cases."

Leicester -   Jamie Vardy be out for "up to eight weeks" with a hamstring injury.
The 34-year-old does not need an operation but will not be seen in a Leicester shirt before March. None of the players who were injured or unavailable over the Christmas period are able to return to face Watford.
Brendan Rodgers confirms that Jonny Evans has just had an operation and will be out until April.
However, Caglar Soyuncu and Patson Daka are set to return to face Burnley on the 15 January, while Ryan Bertrand is currently having a knee injury assessed.
James Justin will play an under-23s match tomorrow as he comes close to a first team return. "If we get him back it'll be a big boost for us, but we have to careful with him,"

Rangnick on injury problems: "Cristiano [Ronaldo] and Marcus [Rashford] training yesterday, I was also convinced before Aston Villa they would be available and they weren't. [Paul] Pogba trained for the first time with the whole group yesterday. He showed what an incredible player he can be; this game is too soon but he could be an option after the break."

(also confirmed they are covid-free)

Klopp on if Roberto Firmino or Diogo Jota will play against Leeds:

"For tomorrow no chance and for the final we will see. I don't know at the moment.
"It will be easier for me to say no now but they are pushing.
"They're not on the pitch for training which is not a good sign.
"We have to see what we can do with the boys in the next few days and then we'll make a decision later in the week."

Also, seemed to confirm TAA not injured when talking about Gomez: "Trent [Alexander-Arnold] needed a break"

Covid at Liverpool too.

(Only rumours as to whom so no place for them here. By the way, Konate and VvD were not pictured in training)

Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has some team news before his side's Champions League second leg at Lille.
"Marcos Alonso is ready to start, Cesar Azpilicueta is ready to start," he said.
"We will try to have them [Reece James and Callum Hudson-Odoi] later in training but it will be a very tight race. We will take the decision after training."

[After Salah didn't train on Monday]

‘Looks like, Mo is a tough cookie,’ Klopp told a press conference on Tuesday. ‘We were quite lucky with it, it was swollen and painful, but yesterday a little bit less swollen and painful.
‘I got a message just before the press conference that he is ready to train and we will see how that looks.’

WHam v Everton 'prezzers'

West Ham boss David Moyes says Jarrod Bowen remain out injured and "won't be available until after the international break".
On the condition of both Aaron Cresswell and Michail Antonio, Moyes said: "I couldn't tell you exactly if they're fit.
"They've done a bit of light training. We're trying to find out if they are fit. They didn't train with the team today but have done a bit with the fitness coaches. We'll wait and assess them tomorrow."

------

"Dominic(, Calvert & Lewin solicitors) trained lightly yesterday off the back of not feeling great, so we will see how he is again this afternoon and then look towards the squad for tomorrow," Lampard said.
There is hope that Fabian Delph will again be available after the upcoming international break, while Yerry Mina is also "a few weeks away at best".

Jurgen Klopp is now asked about the fitness of Trent Alexander-Arnold who missed out on England's matches during the international break: "Trent trained yesterday in parts and is in full training today.
"We will see what we do with that. Trent wanted to play for England but he couldn't and wanted to go. The scans showed he could not go anywhere but sometimes injuries thank God, are not that serious that you are out for five to six weeks and it is two to three weeks.
"It is tight for tomorrow but it's possible from what I hear. He has had intense sessions with rehab team so physically he should be fine. Now I have to make a decision about rhythm."
Klopp goes on to add that Andy Robertson is fine after he was ruled out Scotland's friendly against Poland before playing in the draw with Austria.

Speaking at a press conference, Guardiola confirmed both de Bruyne and Walker missed training on Friday but will be given late fitness tests ahead of kick-off in the capital.

‘We will see tomorrow about De Bruyne and Walker [they did not train with the team today].

‘Ruben Dias trained today and we will see about him,’ Guardiola said.

Discussing the injuries, Guardiola added: ‘He [Walker] had a big twist but it is getting better.
‘In football, these kinds of things happen. We will see how he adapts in the next few hours, days, for the next games.’
‘It is stitches in his [de Bruyne’s] calf. It is not a muscular injury.’

Yesterday Klopp said Jota had a knock but that he would see how it goes.

Not exactly an "injury" but I'll post it here-

Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk injury latest

Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk are set to miss Liverpool's trip to Southampton but Jürgen Klopp is sure they will be available for the Champions League final.

When asked if the duo will be involved versus Southampton during the second part of Monday’s pre-match press conference, Klopp replied: “No. Virg definitely not but that was pretty much clear before the [Chelsea] game already that I thought, ‘OK, this is the game now.’ He played really a lot and then Saturday-Tuesday again. It was clear.
“They are both OK. So, the target would be for both that they can be involved again on the weekend. Properly involved, bench or whatever and a few minutes or start, I don’t know, we will see that, because that would then be perfect for the game [Champions League final].
“But if not then we take each day afterwards. But we are very positive, or [have] no doubt about the final. I’m pretty realistic about the Wolves game, but tomorrow rather not.”

Klopp on Fabinho/Salah/VVD: "Not sure what we'll do for the weekend. There's no chance we take any risks. It looks good. The boys take steps. My preferred solution is they'd play at the weekend for rhythm reasons or maybe be on the bench. I can't say 100%."
