So Darby makes his final moves, and if Son and Kane perform this evening things look bleak for me. I have one transfer left, which will buy me an extra game somewhere, but it’s unlikely to be enough. Might be a 20 point gap or more after tonight.

It’s too close to call and all dependent on clean sheets could go either way.

Sorry guys I just made my final transfers from stationery traffic on the M61. Bridge jumper apparently ☹️

Anyway, as has been seen final 2 used: Mane and Jesus out, Son and Kane in.

Mbeumo 3.6 > Dennis 2.6 (15) > Bowen 3.9 (32) > Alonso 3.6

Sarr 3.8 > Smith-Rowe 3.3 (16) > Gallagher 2.7 (25)
Salah 7.0 > Jesus 6.2 (2) > Kane 7.0 (3) > Ronaldo 7.0 (6) > Lukaku 6.8 (9) > Ronaldo 7.0 (11) > Kane 7.0 (13) > Bilva 5.4 (19) Son 6.6 (39)

Antonio 4.8 >Ronaldo 7.0 (14) > Jota 4.7 (20)

Team Value 49.9
Transfers Left 1

Reasons:-
Pre 1 - Robbo crocked, want some Leicester, Bertrand attacking potential too
Pre 2 - Upgrade
1/2 - 2 for 0s (maybe)
3 prob Daisy chain for Ronaldo
4/5 cash raiser and Spuds looking good at the back
6/7 prefer fixtures. Must haves (forgot to include salah swap in previous post sorry)
8 KDb back to take gundogan pts, Trent in just in time for a shocker
9 favourable fixtures
10/11 dropped/crocked to not much better
12 upgrade
13 fixtures
14-18 overhaul!
19 Kane had to go. Bilva most reliable of city front 6 atm
20 extra games
21 crock to old goat. Can afford to give Salah one more game
22 afcon
23 3-0
24 extra games, outsaves opponents keeper every game?
25-6 ‘templatey’ trying to avoid the drop
27 must have, missed cut off Sunday
28 United’s dolly fixtures finally over
29 crock to you extra games done last wk
30 rest for Trent, hopefully temporary, need Chelsea defensive coverage
31 expecting better return short term
32 return of must have
33 late again sorry - poor form Salah still better than awful Bruno
34 reason why I’m in a relegation fight. Trent for the run in tho
35 form/fixtures
36 extra fixtures. Had Bilva to Robertson lined up too but missed deadline! I see Bill has him now too so reckon I’m doomed!
37 desperate times = desperate measures! Need a stalemate tonight
38 Blocker
39 suspect bill will block me back if he needs to

This could go either way but…….

Darby has 7 point lead plus Saka tomorrow.

Tuesday it’s advantage Zip assuming Salah (Darby) and Vvd (Zip) miss out.

Zip Alisson TAA Diaz v Darby Matip. Potentially Zip could lead after this game.

Wednesday it’s again advantage Zip.

Zip James Alonso Mount Gordon
Darby Mendy Gallagher Guehi

So I fully expect Zip to lead going into the weekend fixtures and with CFC home to Watford I fully expect Zip to prevail. Darby needs a lot of luck going his way like Salah returning.

Salah returning would make me look like an utter numpty.

Not for the first time.

I think it's very close. It is annoying that, as a lifelong Palace supporter, I keep wanting us to concede.

How many get relegated or are dropping out?

Do I assume a minimum of 3 for promotion from the Championship?

I think the goal-less cup final and City choosing this time to start leaking goals has done me over. BUT you never know. Could be some left-field team selections this week.

Same as always 3 up 3 down. No idea on drop outs I'd doubt any of the those satying up will be.

Very exciting battle for the last relegation place between Bill Ferny who is 13 points ahead of Top Banana. Both around 5k position that’s been nearly good enough to win in years gone by!

Next Sunday there could be a scenario that United goals would be good for your egg team whereas I want United not to score and possibly go into Europa Conference.

The predicted Liverpool line-up on FFS does not fill me with joy. No TAA or Robertson, no Diaz (Salah, Mane and VVD also absent). In fact, a reserve team. I suppose it could go that way, but not sure Liverpool fans would welcome what would look like a white flag....

think its more about managing the players minutes than anything else. get through the first half without any probs then bring on the big guns second half. soton will cave eventually and this is where the points will come
