Yeah, you do sometimes miss an obvious one by reading it in the same way as alternatives.

I did all that and, yep, I missed it, so with my mind still blank I typed every single option in (even XEARZ etc). Twice. Every one was red. Quordle lied. Quordle hates me.

Yes, it was SHINE here… which proved to be a very straightforward 3 today, after one green from ROATE and all four other greens from SHINY!

I thought it was just (English?) slang!

Too many names of late, Homer screwed me in wordle the other day (I'll never watch The Simpsons again in protest) and today we get Ralph and Amity (only a partial name of a fictional town in a horror film???.).

I also hate it when the only 'valid' words that I can find are names and I can't then get them out of my head. Has happened with PUTIN twice!

Yeah, I saw PUTIN once, guess the actual word was INPUT…

Not familiar with RALPH as a dictionary word, but had the A in green and all others yellow and it was all I could see! None of them were easy words today.

I had the R (green) and A (yellow Middle) and H (yellow 4th). Had tried ROATE, CUSHY, COMET and COVET. Never heard of RAPLH, but spent so long trying to find a word I stuck it in and was surprised it stayed black. Still took maybe 15 more minutes looking for a "real" word.

Ralph was annoying as a word. Amity something I know the meaning of but didn’t really think it’d be a W/Quordle type choice. I wonder if some of the more obvious quartets are running out?
