That’s a concise post even by Kris’s standards ;)

I can think of someone who only lost 10. Can't remember his name but I picked him for my 5th slot this year....

ROS is making mistakes and the running of the balls is giving Judd the confidence to get over his mistakes....

Good to see Trump coming back into it... really not up for a late night though. At least we won't get Ebdon-Dott type stuff from them I guess!

@ Shaggy365: thanks for running the game and well done on your own performance.

Might there be time after the final for an update of Fiso historical standings?

I blame Wilson for ko'ing Ding, then Bingham for not beating Judd after zapping Wilson.

Congrats to Ronnie. Judd started to play today but last night cost him.

7 times world champ correctly reflects his god given talent.

Well done to Shaggy and bad luck Blah.

Snooker wins 😎

Sadly not a fix. Genuinely picked a winning entry. Not bothered about winning the main competition (although I'm happy I did). More important to win the m/l. I only know a few non-FISO people that enter, so beating them doesn't carry as much weight.

Should have posted my entry earlier in the thread. Will try and remember for the 17th running.

See you all in a couple of weeks for Eurovision.

Proper congratulations to Shaggy (the only FISOer with both finalists) and Ronnie.

I console myself with 5th place..... of the 12 FISOers who didn't pick Ronnie.

Is it just me or did Trump look a bit uncomfortable at the end of Ronnie’s hug.
Thought Ronnie was going to start snogging him at one point.

Get a room

I thought the same 😂 There's hugs and well, there's hugs. Judd seemed like, OK, this has gone on too long now.

Thanks to Shaggy for organising and a note for 12 months time, if I try to choose Robertson again, please stage some sort of intervention and reject it as an invalid entry.

You'll probably find a very similar post from me on a previous thread but with the word "Robertson" replaced by "O'Sullivan"

Yeah, they could probably enter three minutes of silence and still win. UK to come last as usual, of course, given presumably Russia and Belarus are banned!

I heard there was going to be a “Yankovision” equivalent with the 50 states all competing, hasn’t happened yet as far as I’m aware…

I saw a clip about our "entry" which went on about it having a chance. My jaw dropped for a fair while, and I still wasn't able to laugh for a while after that 🤣🤣🤣

If we come second to Ukraine (or Australia for that matter, if they’re still in it…) presumably we’ll have to host next year?

A follow up to the Llandudno conversation.... The hotel was actually very good with hindsight, but I'm not sure the place was that great.

I see the seniors are ongoing, for anyone not fed up of snooker… seems a bit ridiculous that 40-year-olds can enter though, given three of the four semi-finalists of the main event were much older than that. Even Robertson would qualify now! 50+ as per golf (I think) would make sense…

That's how Williams is a dual WC 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I think I got that link via one going on about Parrott retiring - as if that is anywhere being interesting.

Retiring from what, playing as a whole? Not sure if he still has a full tour card or just plays the seniors.

Parrott’s younger than Jimmy isn’t he, or similar, so could be still trying to qualify for major events…

Seems a split between familiar(ish) names and ones who never really made it on the main stage for whatever reason, in the seniors.

2023 Qualifying starts on Monday! :D :D :D

Stephen Hendry, 'come on' Jimmy White and Ken Doherty are among the players who will be involved in qualifying for this year's World Snooker Championship.

Women's world champion Baipat Siripaporn is also in the field along with Barry Hawkins, Stephen Maguire, Hossein Vafaei and Marco Fu.

There will be four qualifying rounds, from 3 to 12 April, with 128 players vying for 16 spots in the main draw.
