It’s a shame the prize money is so crap now and for that reason I’d just play my own game for as long as possible still plenty of time for other teams to come on up through that you’ve not monitored and then you’re screwed. Invariably playing sensible wins. I came very close one year and just followed the form don’t try and push it. That’s my advice.

Sound advice Happy. I’m playing another newspaper game this year. Currently 6th. Top prize £75k!!!!!

I assume this is SDT. I reckon that's the way I'd jump if/when TFF comes to an end. Can't be doing with all the chips/captain bollocks in the other games. Might have to ask you to write a "TFF players guide to SDT" if it comes to pass . Good luck for the rest of the season over there.

I think TFF is safe for now I was talking to them on twitter about why we still have 2 hour deadlines (after the devils sunday flange) when we don't have it in the summer cup comps. They said they would consider this for next season....

What do they do in the summer cup comps?

There needs to be some rule or you could do a 7.30 player to a 7.45 one and get both points from a weekday evening.

Anyway, glad there is good hope it will continue as I hate FPL and could never play anything associated with the S*n.

One footnote from the weekend just gone is Conor Gallagher won't be allowed to play in the semi against Chelsea. A shame for him and Palace.

Well done. 8 transfers should be enough to keep your team moving up the table. I don't remember when I started playing but it involved making transfers by post, It's a good 20 years I think. I am also having 1 of my better seasons (single team) 42nd for the month.
