GW23 Transfers - Deadline Fri 21 Jan 18:30
Barring any Villa double the plan is to roll, which would give me another week to decide which of Ronaldo or Bruno to ditch for Salah.

Likewise waiting for Villa double news. Could be Johnson -> Digne or Laporte, or Son -> KdB / Foden (and no idea how to split them), or Coutinho, depending. Raph also has appeal.

Probably gonna punt on Bilva to Coutinho and part of me wants to go early on Ronaldo to Saint-Maximin (to fund Salah when he is back), but don't want another -4!

Heh, this exactly. With no real fires to put out I'm prioritising:
- KDB (c)
- Laporte
- and then Coutinho/Digne/Raphinha if they get a double. I kind of hope they don't so I can just go with the City lads.

So many things I want to change...looking at a WC as I'm struggling to afford them all now, and price moves could make a lot of difference.
If I don't go down that route, possibly for a hit Moura & Saka -> (a) Raphinha & Coutinho or (b) KDB & Ramsey

No idea what I'm going to do.
I want KDB, Coutinho, Saka, Raphinha but can only really go for one.
Going to hold off as late as possible to decide though.

Same. Even though it means playing one of Alonso/Coufal. If there is a double for Villa/Leeds that changes things of course.

Pre-emptively did James -> Dias. Everyone is on the Laporte train and it seems that I missed out why outside of Dias being benched during the last game.

Fair point. And Spurs is still highly capable of conceding goals.Smurphy Paw wrote: ↑21 Jan 2022, 10:35 I think of Alonso as a cheap winger. Chelsea have been poor recently but he’s still worthy of inclusion this week IMO

Any reason why King not Dennis?

Already have Dennis. As for who to captain I'm unsure. King is on pens. Now that Joao Pedro is in the side I don't know who'll play where out of the front 3 although I believe it was JP on the left, Dennis on the right and King through the middle vs Newcastle. Whether they'll line up that way in a home game I don't know but it is leading me towards King for the captaincy.

Already have Dennis too.
A reluctant Toney King (Reluctant because I like Toney and don’t really want to lose him. He is coming up against the best 2 defences in the league next 2 games though in Wolves and Man City).
Also a completely un-reluctant Gray Raphinha . (Never liked Gray in the first place. Very happy to get rid)

Hmm already have Dennis so Antonio -> King with my FT
considering Gray or Moura to Raphinha for -4 but I might be better off just banking the money so I can afford Bruno and Moura to Salah and Coutinho next GW

With 8.4 in the bank and a tentative plan to WC next week, I'm thinking of a one week punt on Livramento Robertson.
Would've liked to bring a Man City midfielder in, but quite like my front 7 this week, although I could do it and bench Antonio I suppose.

with today's new of the watfor double and ronaldo being an injury doubt for the west ham game, i'm looking at
cr7 king
mount kdb
for a hit. leaves me with 2 watofrd attackers, but that's a problem for next week...

Ronaldo Dennis or King, I'll have to see if the 0.3 will matter in a few weeks time.

Maybe reconsider selling CR? I know, but the guy is more obsessed with scoring than we are. I'm guessing he scores against WHU.eastcentral1 wrote:touche. the thing is, i am on dennis, but i think king is the one to have.Pirlo's Beard wrote: ↑21 Jan 2022, 16:14And possibly this week.eastcentral1 wrote: ↑21 Jan 2022, 16:09 leaves me with 2 watofrd attackers, but that's a problem for next week...

Redneck Ronnie Double GW goal King
Ronaldo must have strained it watching Rashford scoring.

Ended up doing CR7 to King (not sure to start Vs dgw). However, now have the Salah money burning a hole in my pocket. Worth taking a -4 to bring KDB in for Jota/Bilva, both of which would allow me to do Bruno to Salah the moment Egypt get dumped out of AFCON?

Would triple captain Joshua King be stupid? Everyone in my league has Dennis and me as well and I need to do some risk to get back in track with the nr.1. What do you guys think?
Easy fixtures, less subbed than Dennis and probably on penalties.
