Appropriately enough I finished my box on 12th night. Anyway....

They are now doing a Lockdown Survival Kit which is basically the same thing as the Advent with a few new beers. 24 for 49.95 delivered (but not til late Feb).

https://www.brewdog.com/uk/lockdown-survival-kit-24-can

EDIT - Ordered and took advantage off the postage being paid to order 12 cans of Hoppy Xmas for a tenner and a 4 pack of Juice Shack.

No. It's on their website. Reduced(!) to just under 4 quid each for a 4 pack.

I’ve got a few cans of that. I really like it, although not something you can drink a lot of 😀

Used to get some imperial stout from Norway, which is obviously out now so that’s replaced it. There are a lot of nice stouts around now though

On Brewdog again here!

Was quite pleased when Day 1 was a new one to me - "Planet Pale" a straightforward Pale Ale (not Indian!). Bit less pleased when I poured it and it looked like a slightly frothier than normal lager, which isn't far off the taste. Lost Lager with a Punk top? Drinkable but a bit bland, not going on the shopping list.

Cheers and happy advent drinking everyone!

(PS To go with the above 'Currently Drinking', Currently playing - Bob Marley "Natty Dread" - great but not overly christmassy!)

I've watched the price come down over the last week, glad it didn't get below what I actually paid. I got in early when it was 49.95 or 49.99 but there was 20% off so £40 less a penny or so :D

Mine was £45 delivered on an early bird offer. Beer 52 was one of the offer subscriptions that I tried last year but I actually kept it going because of the nice selection of good quality, interesting beer that they include.

December 1 is a very nice west coast IPA from North Brewing co - Empire of Sound

little bit of fruit, lots of bitter hop flavour. 4/5

I love IPA, raspberry, white chocolate and milkshake but not sure they all work in one glass. It is fairly nice as a one off but I'm not gonna get addicted.

Just poured mine. Isn’t something I’d buy but been looking forward to it all day.

Down the hatch.

Well mine was a Neapolitan white stout. A milk stout, with chocolate, vanilla and raspberry, but golden not black.

It was a bit weird to be honest. Quite nice but won’t be queuing up to buy more

Wasn't drinking last night so my 3rd door is still closed.
Door 4 has revealed a boringly predictable but still lovely Punk. Old school and highly welcome - like an injury time Origi winner.

Good deal as it is free delivery.

Brewdog themselves have 2 different 12-packs of the more interesting beers in the packs that are about 15 quid. Delivery is steep unless you order loads.

Since I last posted
5th Lost lager, dull, not my thing any more
6th & 8th not opened
7th Hazy Jane Guava. Interesting for those who haven't had it before. I have and I like it. Pretty much how you would expect, sort of Hazy Jane meets Elvis Juice.

Brewdog doing free delivery this weekend - and, my favourite, Elvis Juice at 6.5% which was (apparently) its original strength. Ordered some of that and their best of 2021 box plus some Velvet Cake and Hoppy Xmas. All at reduced prices, works out under £1.20/can.

Didn't open one on 8th as planning to run on 9th
Didn't run or open one on 9th as under the weather
Not opening one tonight as running in the morning.

Going to have a big stash for the new year at this rate. Dry January? Nah.....

Have the Brewdog advent calendar and today Parma violets IPA - that's beer heading is a direction not meant for beer to be heading in direction of.

Yeah, I'm a bit scared of this one

I'm a few days behind, so have a few beers to drink which sound funky, but are not going to mix well

It's a really good gift though, I certainly enjoy it.

Was wondering when we'd get to this one. Not sure if I'm drinking tonight so it remains unopened. (I'm sticking to the calendar but have missed a few out)

Last night's White Space was a new one to me. Quite nice.
