Cheers shaggy, brilliant comp that made me watch/follow some good snooker :D . Not bad to win and come 3rd overall when you lose 3 of your 4 players in the QFs. If only....
Well played 8-)

Unlucky on your choice of number 5. At least you knew your fate early doors.

I was thinking about requesting a recount! I think a FISO second is quite respectable...

The two closest entries, and if either of you had chosen 30 instead of 29 or 31, you'd have had another 1000 points. Such are the tight margins.

Tory Bod just announced that Snooker will be back on tv soon.....

Not sure about bods from China getting here (assuming those based here went back), but qualifying could be a laff?

Starts 31 July. Pity they couldn't have had it on sooner, there'll be plenty of other stuff going on by then. It could have had some big audiences in a sport vacuum.

11-12 players have withdrawn including Marco Fu.

If he is the only name mentioned then I can't imagine the test are that 'big'

You'd fancy Trump and Robbo to make the semis but Q2 and especially Q3 are a toss of a coin.

Lockdown has thrown a huge curve ball into this, with a lot of players playing absolute pants and others playing very well ie Allen, Maguire and the unctious Murphy. The latter made a ridiculous number of Centuries in losing to Allen and I didn't see much\any of the other semi with Maguire beating Trump, I think.

Some purple patch for him right now. Any of the snooker enthusiasts have a view on whether it's just that or a corner turned.

I'm not as into it as I was as I watch the football then NFL on a weekend...

He is certainly playing the best he has, with 2 Finals in 2 weeks. If he does well in the longer framed matches then he could be interesting in Sheffield, where I believe that he has never won a match.

Technically, he has a very long Cue Action ie bridge hand is a long way from CB and a long back swing, both of which could be dodgy under pressure. But then Trump's action is shocking and I did say he would never won the WC...
