Breaking the cycle

Post by itslikebrandnew »

I always start off well and then slowly slip down the leaderboard so it can only be due to poor transfer decisions.

Here's my team and i've targetted making 2 transfers Tsimikas and Norgaard

GK Alisson LIV 4.4
DEF VVD LIV 5.3
DEF TAA LIV 4.9
DEF Tsimikas LIV 3
DEF Cancelo MCI 5
MID Fernandes MUN 6.7
MID Torres MCI 3.2
MID Norgaard BRE 1.3
FWD Salah LIV 6.3
FWD Vardy LEI 4
FWD Jota LIV 4.4
Bank 4.3

So it's 8.6m for 2 players 2mids or 1 def and 1 mid.

So far i've come up with Varane and Fornals. What would you guys do?

I've also got the temptation to swap out Tsimikas and Vardy instead to bring in Ronaldo & Zouma

Yeah with robbo back could be sensible and vardy isn't the prolific goalscorer of recent years.đź‘Ť

You could always go for AWB if you want a budget Utd defence pick. Maybe Benrahma instead of Fornals since he's a tad cheaper

He was great playing for the spain u21's. Think they won the u21 world cup with his help around the time he joined West Ham. It's taken him 2 or 3 years but we might finally be seeing the real fornals.

Because of the mess up with my values and dreamteam showing me wrong values and wrong cash in the bank i did these transfers in the end :-

Vardy to Ronaldo
Tsimkas to Sarr
Norgaard to Mbeumo

Worked out well last weekend for Ronaldo, but not for Sarr or Mbeumo. Stuck with them and today they have been great.

Think i need to dump Torres next and find a player that will get more minutes.

I did, but he's gone today. I bought in KDB and Rondon. Ran out of cash after bringing in KDB so playing the fixtures with Everton v Norwich. Surprisingly Rondon has a better % of goals per games than DCL and Richarlison.
